Organised home interiors brand HomeLane is entering its next phase of growth with ambitions to cross ₹1,000 crore in revenue, backed by expanding product categories, AI-driven operations, and a continued focus on operational efficiency and profitability.
Founded over a decade ago to bring transparency, standardisation, and technology to India’s fragmented home interiors market, the Bengaluru-based company has evolved into one of the country’s largest organised interior solutions brands. Today, HomeLane operates across more than 45 cities through over 90 experience centres, has delivered over 70,000 homes, and completes nearly 1,000 projects every month.

The company’s financial performance reflects its steady scale-up. In FY25, revenue from operations grew 22% year-on-year to ₹747.8 crore, while net losses narrowed by more than 8% to ₹111.38 crore. HomeLane has also raised $194 million to date from investors including Accel, Peak XV, and IIFL.
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand beyond modular kitchens and wardrobes into adjacent home improvement categories, including false ceilings, wallpapers, curtains, soft furnishings, and kitchen appliances. The strategy is aimed at increasing customer lifetime value while positioning HomeLane as a comprehensive home solutions brand.
A key milestone in this journey was the September 2024 acquisition of DesignCafe, completed alongside a ₹225 crore fundraise. The integration has enabled the company to strengthen technology, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities while improving operating efficiencies across the combined platform.
Technology continues to remain central to HomeLane’s business model. Leveraging design data from more than 70,000 homes and nearly 2.8 lakh rooms, the company has integrated AI into its design workflow, reducing the time required to create an initial design from three to four hours to approximately five minutes. Nearly half of its design process is now AI-assisted, helping designers deliver faster, more personalised customer experiences.
As consumer demand shifts towards end-to-end home solutions, HomeLane is focusing on sustainable growth by combining operational discipline, technology, and portfolio expansion. With profitability and scale becoming equally important, the company is positioning itself to strengthen its leadership in India’s organised home interiors market while pursuing its next major revenue milestone.
