NEWME Expands Omnichannel Footprint, Targets 50 Stores by End of 2026

Fashion-tech brand NEWME is continuing its rapid retail expansion with the launch of its first store in Bhopal, strengthening its omnichannel strategy as it works towards a target of 50 stores across India by the end of 2026.

The latest expansion takes NEWME’s retail network to 31 stores nationwide, with the Bhopal outlet becoming the company’s second store in Madhya Pradesh after its earlier entry into Indore. The move reinforces the brand’s focus on scaling its presence across high-growth markets with a young and fashion-conscious consumer base.

Located at DB City Mall, the 1,700 sq. ft. store has been designed to deliver an immersive shopping experience that blends physical retail with technology. Alongside the brand’s latest fashion collections, the outlet features smart mirrors and dedicated content creation spaces, reflecting NEWME’s strategy of creating interactive retail environments tailored to Gen Z shoppers.

According to the company, Bhopal was selected because of its expanding organised retail ecosystem, growing population of young consumers, and rising demand for trend-led fashion. The expansion builds on the positive response received at its Indore store, further establishing Madhya Pradesh as a strategic growth market.

Founded in 2022, NEWME has built an omnichannel business model that combines offline retail with its digital platform and NEWME Zip, the company’s quick-commerce service. This integrated approach enables customers to engage with the brand across multiple touchpoints while supporting faster product discovery and fulfilment.

Commenting on the expansion, Sumit Jasoria, Co-founder and CEO of NEWME, said the company’s focus remains on creating retail spaces where Gen Z consumers can discover fashion that reflects their individuality, self-expression, and lifestyle.

As India’s organised fashion retail market continues to expand, NEWME is investing in experiential retail formats that combine technology, community engagement, and trend-first merchandising. The company’s continued store rollout demonstrates its long-term strategy of complementing digital growth with a stronger offline presence.

With 31 stores already operational and plans to scale to 50 outlets by the end of 2026, NEWME is strengthening its position in India’s fashion retail market through a combination of omnichannel expansion, quick commerce, and customer-centric retail experiences.
