Rawbare Raises Fresh Capital from Teamology to Scale D2C Eyewear Brand

Indian direct-to-consumer eyewear brand Rawbare has secured fresh funding from Teamology Softech and Media Services to strengthen its design-led portfolio, expand its retail and customer experience footprint, and prepare for a phased entry into international markets.

Founded in 2022, Rawbare operates in India’s growing D2C eyewear segment, building its brand around design, quality, craftsmanship, and long-term customer relationships. The latest investment marks an important step in the company’s growth journey as it looks to expand into new cities and markets without losing the customer trust and community that shaped its early years.

The fresh capital will be deployed across three key areas. Rawbare plans to enhance its product design capabilities, expand its retail and customer experience presence, and lay the groundwork for international expansion. The brand is currently preparing to enter select overseas markets as part of a phased global growth strategy.

For Rawbare, the investment is not only about capital. The company sees Teamology’s expertise across communications, technology, and brand development as strategically aligned with its next stage of growth.

Founder Affan Ahmad said the focus remains on building Rawbare with discipline while protecting the brand’s core strengths of design, quality, and customer trust. Rather than pursuing expansion for scale alone, the company wants to become an eyewear brand that consumers deliberately choose.

That approach has been central to Rawbare’s journey since its launch. Co-Founder Ankit Mor said the brand was built publicly, one customer and one conversation at a time. The new capital will allow Rawbare to take that community-led foundation into new cities and markets while preserving the qualities that helped build trust.

Co-Founder Shahid Javed also highlighted the importance of bringing the right partners around the company, describing Teamology as an investor that can strengthen the brand’s foundation as it expands.

Teamology Founder Gulrez Alam said the investment was driven by Rawbare’s disciplined approach to design and its honest relationship with customers. Co-Founder Badshah Ansari added that Teamology will help the eyewear brand communicate its story to the right audiences and at the right scale as it enters new markets.

As India’s direct-to-consumer ecosystem continues to produce design-focused lifestyle brands, Rawbare’s next phase will centre on product innovation, stronger customer experiences, disciplined retail expansion, and international growth. With fresh capital and strategic brand-building support, the D2C eyewear company is preparing to take its design-led proposition to a wider audience while staying focused on the community and trust that built the brand.
