Gully Labs Secures ₹8.7 Crore Seed Funding to Expand Cultural Sneaker Brand

Gully Labs, a New Delhi-based sneaker startup founded in 2023 by Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, has successfully raised ₹8.7 crore in a seed funding round. The company is renowned for blending Indian cultural motifs with contemporary sneaker designs, aiming to resonate with fashion-forward urban consumers. This funding milestone marks a significant step in Gully Labs’ journey to amplify its presence in India’s burgeoning sneaker market.

The seed funding round, comprising ₹7.6 crore in equity and ₹1.1 crore in venture debt, was led by Zeropearl VC. Notable investors include founders from Bounce, Yogabar, Jar, and Renee Cosmetics, along with micro-VCs like Untitled Ventures and Atrium Ventures. Stride Ventures spearheaded the debt investment. This capital infusion will enable Gully Labs to diversify its product offerings, establish exclusive retail outlets, and strengthen its footprint in India’s metro markets. The brand’s commitment to integrating Indian cultural narratives into its products positions it uniquely in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) landscape.

Gully Labs’ recent funding success underscores a growing consumer appetite for homegrown brands that authentically represent Indian culture. With strategic investments and a clear vision, the company is poised to redefine India’s sneaker industry by offering products that are both culturally resonant and fashion-forward. As Gully Labs scales its operations, it aims to set a precedent for Indian craftsmanship in the global fashion arena.
