Digital-first fashion brand Theater has secured fresh capital to accelerate expansion, strengthen its balance sheet and build on its rapid revenue growth.
Digital-first fashion and lifestyle brand Theater has raised ₹56.25 crore (around $6 million) in Series A funding at a post-money valuation of approximately ₹402 crore ($43 million), marking a sharp increase from its previous valuation of ₹90 crore.

The round was led by Niveshaay, which invested ₹37 crore. FirstPort Capital contributed ₹12.81 crore, while Skagen Ventures invested ₹3.36 crore. Saket Agarwal, Vishal Julka and IPV International also participated.
Theater’s board approved the issuance of 2,145 Series A compulsorily convertible preference shares at ₹2,62,224 per share to complete the fundraise.
The latest round represents a 4.5X increase in valuation from the company’s previous level. Theater had earlier raised $1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Prath Ventures in September 2024.
The fresh capital will be used to expand the business, meet working capital requirements, strengthen the balance sheet and support the brand’s next phase of growth.
Founded by Sarthak Aggarwa, Karan Jain, Vikram Jain and Shruti Agarwal, Theater operates as a digital-first fashion and lifestyle brand serving both men and women. Its portfolio spans shoes, bags, stockings, socks, perfumes and other accessories.
Following the latest allotment, Eternal Emerging Enterprises Fund remains the largest institutional shareholder with a 9.71% stake, followed by Niveshaay at 9.20%, FirstPort Capital at 3.19% and Vishal Julka at 2.54%.
Among the founders, Sarthak Aggarwal holds 20.63%, Karan Jain and Vikram Jain own 16.39% each, while Shruti Aggarwal holds 12.16%.
Theater’s latest funding comes after significant revenue expansion. The company’s revenue grew 2.37X to ₹33.35 crore in FY25. While FY26 financial results are yet to be filed, the significant rise in valuation indicates growing investor confidence in the brand’s progress and future potential.
Niveshaay’s investment also adds to its growing exposure to the D2C ecosystem, following investments in brands including Mokobara and XYXX, alongside earlier bets on beauty brands Naturis Cosmetics and Innovist.
For Theater, the Series A provides additional capital to scale its digital-first model, broaden its product portfolio and strengthen the foundation for its next stage of growth.
