Vehicle servicing startup Jackit is reshaping India’s fragmented auto maintenance market with a tech-first, customer-centric approach. Based in Thane, the company has already served over 4,000 customers at its flagship center in Mira-Bhayandar, with an impressive 80% repeat rate—a strong signal of consumer trust in a space plagued by inconsistency and overcharging.
Founded in 2018 by Jitendra Sharma and Devendra Didwanai, Jackit was born from a personal experience—Sharma’s near-fatal accident caused by a faulty bike repair in 2017. Initially launched as a platform connecting users to garages and authorized service centers, the startup soon pivoted to a full-stack model in 2022 after identifying quality and transparency gaps in the ecosystem.
Today, Jackit offers a wide range of services including two- and four-wheeler maintenance, license renewals, driving lessons, vehicle deregistration, and challan payment assistance. Customers benefit from real-time WhatsApp updates, before-and-after service images, digital service records, and convenient doorstep pick-up and drop-off—bringing trust and simplicity to what has traditionally been a frustrating process.
With competitive pricing starting at ₹1,600 for two-wheelers and ₹7,000 for four-wheelers, Jackit is targeting the sweet spot between affordability and quality. The company currently operates within a 20 km radius but has bigger plans ahead.
A mobile app is in the works for a September 2025 launch, featuring AI-powered diagnostics that will work with both traditional and electric vehicles. Jackit is also rolling out a franchise-owned, company-operated (FOCO) model to scale its presence across Thane and eventually other cities.
By blending reliability, technology, and a strong service ethic, Jackit is emerging as a standout player in India’s growing mobility services market.
