ZILO Accelerates Fashion Quick-Commerce Expansion in Mumbai With Second Dark Store and Rapid Lifestyle Category Scale-Up

ZILO, one of India’s fastest-growing fashion quick-commerce startups, just opened its second dark store in Mumbai. This is only three months after their first big expansion, showing how much demand there is for fast, trendy fashion as well as the growth of direct-to-consumer brands across apparel, accessories, and lifestyle stuff.

This new store boosts ZILO’s delivery network and gets them further into the D2C world in India, which includes fashion-tech, quick commerce, and lifestyle retail. ZILO is selling wider range of lifestyle items like accessories, shoes, bags, watches, and jewelry. Now, they’re not just a quick-fashion delivery service, they’re going for a lifestyle spot, matching how Gen Z and millennial shop in India’s fast-changing D2C market. This fits with where the D2C market is going in 2025, with fashion and lifestyle starting to mix.

The new location handles both clothes and other stuff, letting ZILO stock more items, keep things consistent, and reach more Mumbai areas. They have a solid hybrid supply-chain that mixes dark stores with partner-brand stores, ZILO is improving its under-60-minute delivery.

The store carries national, international, and D2C brands that India loves, like Titan, Timex, Guess, Lavie, Caprese, Baggit, Zouk, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Neemans, Carlton London, Giva, Zaveri Pearls, Accessorize London, Palmonas, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, and others. This shows how D2C brands are growing through multiple channels and fast delivery.

Bhavik Jhaveri, Co-Founder & CIO of ZILO, said that their aim has been to make fashion shopping simple. Adding accessories and shoes addresses customer’s lifestyle needs. Co-Founder & CEO Padmakumar Pal mentioned that shoppers want speed and variety across fashion, and this attitude is changing D2C news in India.

Started by experts from Flipkart and Myntra, ZILO blends fashion-tech with operations, delivering items from over 100 brands. They also provide home trials, quick returns, and custom product picks, in line with the D2C model in India, where ease, personalization, and access to new fashion are important.

ZILO’s fast growth in Mumbai comes as quick commerce is a top channel for fashion and lifestyle. With its second dark store, ZILO is getting closer to creating a smooth instant-fashion system in India. As they grow, improve delivery, and add item types, they’re becoming one of the fastest-growing D2C brands in India.

ZILO plans to add more dark stores in big cities, supported by shoppers wanting instant fashion. They’re focused on selections, fast local delivery, and cool designs, putting them among the D2C startups changing India’s fashion-commerce industry. In India’s D2C space, ZILO links speed, tech, and fashion for a next-level shopping thing.
