GOBOULT, formerly BOULT, is pushing its premium approach by launching Mustang Thunder. It’s the newest product from their partnership with Mustang. This is a key moment for the company and the direct-to-consumer market in India, where design and innovation are becoming very important to the personal tech market.

The company expects the Mustang series to bring in about 15% of revenue in Q3 FY26. They expect this to increase to around 25% by FY27. This shows that the premium consumer base is growing in India, and personal audio is becoming a valuable segment. The Mustang Thunder builds on the sales of the previous Mustang edition, which showed there’s demand for collaborations and lifestyle-driven tech products in India.
The Mustang Thunder has Mustang’s automotive style. It features 40mm bass drivers, a 70-hour battery, Bluetooth 5.4, fast charging (10 hours of playback in 10 minutes), ENC for clear calls, IPX5 water resistance, and LED accents with the Mustang emblem. It comes in a silver-on-black finish and is available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Myntra for ₹2,499, compared to an MRP of ₹7,999.
Varun Gupta, Co-Founder of GOBOULT, said the Mustang series shows the brand’s goal of balancing innovation and consumer insight. He said this is a flagship line made with care and built on a long-term collaboration. This is why the partnership continues to do well and strengthens GOBOULT’s position among premium electronics brands in India.
With this launch, GOBOULT is turning Mustang from a limited-edition product into a premium line. The company plans to expand the Mustang series into smartwatches and TWS products. This move fits with the trends of category expansion seen in the fast-growing brands in India.
After its rebrand, GOBOULT has seen more brand searches, better consumer interest, and a stronger community. Over 65% of its products now meet premium standards. Its offline presence has grown to 12,000 stores, bringing in about 20% of revenue. They plan to reach over 30,000 stores by FY26 as part of their plan to go public. This puts the company in the spotlight for investors looking at innovation-led brands.
As GOBOULT improves its offline presence, expands into new categories, and uses co-branded innovation, the company is set for growth. The Mustang Thunder launch shows a shift in India’s market toward premium consumer tech that combines style with modern engineering, paving the way for success stories.
