Pepperfry is moving forward in India’s D2C space. They’ve launched their first Pepperfry Home store. It’s a special store that shows off the best new D2C home brands in India. You can find the store on Golf Course Road, in Gurugram. This is a start for Pepperfry to create a real-life place where people can find new decor, furniture, kitchen, dining, and lighting brands. These brands are changing how home retail works in India.

Pepperfry Home has over 800 items from more than 20 D2C brands. It fills a need for a great place where these brands can be seen, get discovered, and connect with customers outside of the internet. These design-focused brands are growing fast. This store gives them a place to start strong in India’s fastest-growing cities.

Ashish Shah, Co-founder & CEO of Pepperfry, says that the store shows a change in what customers want. People now buy things based on design and experience, not just what they do. Pepperfry Home creates a place that appreciates design-led D2C brands and provides them a real-world platform to reach customers. This store combines discovery, skill, and community. It supports our goal to own the whole home shopping experience.

This store is set up to involve people. It’s like a marketplace that changes every month, not just a regular showroom. They change the look based on trends, seasons, and work with artists. This keeps the space new and connected to the D2C brand stories in India’s home industry. It becomes a place to visit for customers and a way for brands to keep telling their story.

Pepperfry Home gives brands good in-store visibility, shares their stories on screens, arranges items by category, and promotes them on social media. This helps new brands get noticed, sets mid-stage startups apart, and helps established brands grow in India’s D2C market.

Shubbam Sharrma, Chief Growth Officer, says that Pepperfry Home helps connect what people want with what they can get. “People don’t just buy decor; they create it. They don’t just build homes; they decorate them. Pepperfry Home helps brands grow by providing the space and experience needed to attract today’s customers.”

The store in Gurugram is just the beginning. The second Pepperfry Home store will open in Bengaluru, and then they will expand across the country. This expansion relies on Pepperfry’s retail network of over 150 studios in 100+ cities, and a delivery system that supports many brands.

Pepperfry was founded in 2012 by Ambareesh Murty and Ashish Shah. They have been a leader in India’s home and furniture market. With Pepperfry Home, they are building the future of Indian D2C. This is where design-led brands find physical stores, customers find great collections, and retail becomes the main way to shop for homes in India.
