Magical Nest Parent Raanro Raises ₹4.12 Cr to Build AI-Led D2C Interiors Platform and Scale Premium Kids Spaces in India

Raanro Interior Technology, the parent company of the children-focused interiors brand Magical Nest, has secured ₹4.12 crore in a pre-seed funding round at a pre-money valuation of ₹60 crore. The round included participation from Stargazer Fund and several notable angel investors such as Kunal Shah, Ankit Nagori, Gaurav Singh Kushwaha, Prashant Tandon, Gaurav Agarwal, and Anshuman Singh. This reflects growing investor interest in D2C startups and increasing confidence in VC-backed brands within India’s expanding D2C ecosystem.

The funding highlights the rising focus on niche, design-oriented direct-to-consumer ventures that aim to deliver differentiated experiences. With the new capital, Raanro intends to accelerate the development of its AI-powered platform, which seeks to enhance the entire interior design process—from lead generation and customer engagement to design, pricing, execution, and delivery. This positions the company at the intersection of supply chain innovation, business model evolution, and technology-driven brand development in the D2C segment.

Founded in 2025 by Rahul Bhatt, Ankush Dixit, and Rohit Rai, Magical Nest specializes in creating functional and safe spaces tailored for children, emphasizing aesthetic design. The brand offers comprehensive solutions including modular furniture, storage, study areas, play zones, and décor, positioning itself within the premium home solutions segment of India’s D2C market. By focusing on a distinct consumer need, the company is tapping into evolving consumer preferences where parents seek curated and personalized environments for their children.

India’s home interiors market, valued at over $30 billion, presents significant opportunities for startups like Magical Nest. Operating in a premium segment with project sizes typically between ₹6 lakh and ₹9 lakh, the brand aligns with trends in premium D2C offerings and the growing demand for aspirational consumption in urban areas. This reflects broader movement towards customized, experience-driven products in the D2C market.

Magical Nest has established a presence in key cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR, while also serving customers in Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Cochin, Coimbatore, and Kolkata. This expanding footprint demonstrates early success in combining digital discovery with offline delivery—a critical approach as D2C retail strategies evolve beyond ecommerce.

The company anticipates closing the current financial year with revenues between ₹14 crore and ₹15 crore, indicating strong early growth and positioning itself among the faster-growing D2C brands in its category. This trend suggests solid demand for specialized interior solutions and underscores its potential in discussions around revenue growth and startup valuation in the sector.

Looking forward, Raanro aims to diversify Magical Nest’s offerings across multiple premium home décor categories, reinforcing its expansion plans and product launches within India’s D2C space. The integration of AI technologies may also bring operational efficiencies and scalability, enhancing its position in go-to-market strategies and investor narratives focused on tech-enabled brands.

As innovation continues across India’s D2C landscape, Magical Nest stands out by integrating design, technology, and customer focus. Within the broader context of D2C developments, the company is part of a new generation of startups redefining how brands deliver tailored, high-value experiences to consumers.

Backed by strong investors, demonstrating a clear product-market fit, and pursuing a technology-driven vision, Raanro and Magical Nest are positioned to scale swiftly and play a significant role in the future growth of India’s D2C industry.
