Kunal Kapoor and Ketto Cofounders Launch MetaGO to Build Doctor-Led Metabolic Healthcare Platform

Actor Kunal Kapoor has partnered with Ketto cofounders Varun Sheth and Zaheer Adenwala to launch MetaGO, a doctor-led healthtech startup focused on weight management, obesity, and related metabolic conditions.

MetaGO has been built around a shift from emergency-led healthcare to early and continuous metabolic health management. The platform combines diagnostic testing, teleconsultations, personalised nutrition coaching, and prescription GLP-1 medications to create individual treatment programmes for people living with obesity and associated metabolic conditions.

The idea emerged from the founders’ experience of seeing families seek support after conditions such as diabetes and obesity had already progressed. MetaGO aims to intervene earlier, focusing on managing metabolic health before conditions advance to a stage requiring more serious medical treatment.

Every user begins the programme with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation covering more than 35 biomarkers. Specialists, including endocrinologists and cardiologists, then develop a personalised treatment plan based on the individual’s metabolic profile. By combining medical expertise, diagnostics, nutrition, and continuous support, the startup is building a more integrated approach to weight and metabolic health management.

MetaGO has also begun community outreach initiatives to increase awareness around metabolic health. The startup recently conducted a free metabolic health camp for the Mumbai Police, offering blood tests and physician consultations. It plans to extend similar initiatives to other professional groups as part of its efforts to encourage earlier health intervention.

The launch comes as a new generation of healthtech startups focuses increasingly on prevention, longevity, personalised treatment, and improving healthspan. MetaGO enters this emerging healthtech landscape with a doctor-led model centred on precision healthcare and continuous management rather than short-term interventions.

The broader healthtech sector is also seeing growing interest in personalised care, preventive health, health-focused wearables, genomics, and AI-enabled wellness solutions. Startups are increasingly developing models that use deeper health data to deliver more individualised experiences and intervene before health conditions become severe.

For MetaGO, the opportunity lies in bringing these shifts together through structured metabolic healthcare. With more than 35 biomarkers informing each user’s journey and specialists creating personalised programmes, the startup is positioning early intervention and ongoing medical guidance at the centre of its model.

As obesity and metabolic conditions become an increasingly important healthcare challenge, MetaGO is aiming to build a platform where prevention, diagnostics, personalised treatment, and continuous care work together to support better long-term health outcomes.
