Cradlewise Raises $12 Mn to Scale AI-Powered Baby Sleep Technology

The consumer wellness company will use its Series A funding to expand channels, invest in product R&D and enter new geographies with its smart sleep system.

Consumer health and wellness company Cradlewise has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management, strengthening its expansion plans through channel, product and geographic expansion.

Cradlewise’s investor base includes Sean O’Sullivan Ventures, Footwork VC, Charles River Ventures, 3one4 Capital and Prudent Investment Management.

Cradlewise will use the fresh capital to support business growth, channel expansion, product research and development, and geographic expansion. The funding comes as the company builds its position at the intersection of artificial intelligence, consumer technology and parenting.

Founded in 2019 by Radhika Patil and Bharath Patil, Cradlewise is an AI-first consumer technology company focused on smart cribs designed to soothe babies and help families improve sleep.

Its smart sleep system combines a crib, contactless monitoring, adaptive motion and a connected app. AI-enabled sensors track movement, sound, sleep state and other contextual signals to identify early signs that a baby may wake up. The system then predicts when a baby is likely to stir and intervenes before the baby fully wakes.

Cradlewise claims its technology can save parents up to two hours of effort each day. The company says its models are trained on more than 75 million hours of sleep data, while its hardware and sensing systems are covered by patents.

A key part of Cradlewise’s consumer proposition is its integrated manufacturing facility in Pune. The facility can produce, test and pack thousands of cribs every month, giving the company greater control over quality, product development and costs, according to the company.

The integrated manufacturing setup gives Cradlewise greater control over the development and delivery of its smart sleep products while maintaining greater control over the process. Rather than positioning the crib simply as nursery furniture, the company is building a connected sleep system designed around monitoring, prediction and automated intervention.

The new funding is expected to help Cradlewise expand the availability of this technology while continuing to invest in product development and strengthen its consumer offering. This can support a wider rollout of its smart sleep system. Channel expansion will be important as the company seeks to reach more consumers, while geographic expansion can broaden its presence.

Cradlewise’s focus reflects a convergence of AI and consumer wellness, where connected products are designed to address everyday family challenges. Its smart cribs target infant sleep and parental fatigue through sensing, adaptive technology and connected experiences designed for modern families.

With $26 million raised to date and Series A capital, Cradlewise is now positioned to scale its technology, manufacturing capabilities and consumer reach.
