Avni Wellness Raises ₹77.5 Lakh on Bharat ke Super Founders, Strengthening India’s Sustainable Menstrual D2C Movement

Avni Wellness, a Mumbai-based company, just got ₹77.5 lakh in funding through Bharat ke Super Founders. This is a big deal for the women’s health and sustainable D2C scene in India, which is growing fast. The funding, which was for 3.1% equity, shows that investors are liking these D2C brands in India that are all about being sustainable, good health, and that people really trust.

Bharat ke Super Founders, a show about entrepreneurs in India that you can stream on Amazon MX Player, helped make the deal happen with their panel of business leaders. Dr. A. Velumani put in ₹50 lakh, and Aditya Singh invested ₹12.5 lakh for 0.5% equity. The rest of the money came from market-linked investments, including ₹15 lakh for 0.6% equity, bringing the total to ₹77.5 lakh.

Sujata Pawar and Apurv Agrawal started Avni Wellness in 2021. They’re all about women’s health, being sustainable, and the D2C thing in India. They sell menstrual and intimate care products that are eco-friendly and don’t have toxins, like reusable cloth pads, period panties, menstrual cups, and hygiene stuff. Women designed them, and they’re inspired by nature and Ayurvedic stuff. Avni Wellness is tackling the health and environmental problems that come with normal period products.

Avni Wellness is mostly online, selling directly to customers. This lets them really connect with people and teach them about sustainable period health. They’re part of the D2C updates and the D2C startups that are changing how people find, buy, and trust personal care products in India. More and more people care about period hygiene, cutting down on waste, and steering clear of toxins, so Avni Wellness is in a good spot with D2C consumers in India.

The funding they got from Bharat ke Super Founders should help Avni Wellness grow its D2C plans. They want to sell their products in more places, make their supply chain better, teach consumers stuff, and do more digital marketing. There’s more competition between D2C personal care brands, so this money gives Avni Wellness what they need to grow while still being all about sustainability.

This also shows that early-stage money is going to brands that are honestly trying to fix real consumer problems. Women’s health used to not get much attention in startup funding, but now it’s becoming a big category in the D2C world in India. Having experienced people like Dr. A. Velumani invest gives them more than just money; they also get advice.

Being on Bharat ke Super Founders gets Avni Wellness seen nationwide, which makes the brand more trustworthy. Sustainable D2C brands and wellness stuff are getting more attention, and Avni Wellness is standing out as a brand that’s built to last, not just to grow fast.

Avni Wellness has a clear goal, a growing line of sustainable products, and new funding, so they’re set to grow in a good way. What they’re doing shows what’s going on in the D2C space in India today—founders who care about values, consumers who are aware, and investors who are supportive are all coming together to shape what’s next for D2C in India.
