Cuzor Raises ₹5 Cr Seed Funding to Power D2C Expansion in Consumer Electronics

Bengaluru-based consumer electronics startup Cuzor Labs has secured ₹5 crore in seed funding from Ramesh Kannan, founder and MD of Kaynes Technology India Limited. This deal marks Kannan’s first personal investment in a D2C brand.

The funding will support product improvements, expansion into new areas, and scaling Cuzor’s D2C presence. With this funding, Cuzor is entering the fast-charging market with the launch of the Cuzor Pulse 70W, a GaNSense-powered universal charger designed and made in India. The Pulse 70W, priced at ₹2,499 and available on Amazon, is set to be a key D2C product in the consumer electronics category.

Founded in 2020, Cuzor has focused on performance and customer-first ideas, with in-house R&D and local manufacturing. This strategy fits well with top-tier D2C brands. The company is known for its Mini UPS products, where it holds a 41% market share. With the Pulse 70W, the brand is growing its reach in electronics, a sector that’s expanding quickly.

The Pulse 70W stands out with dual-port charging (up to 25% faster when both ports are used), LED indicators, and a two-year warranty. It delivers up to 70W output at 91% efficiency and supports many devices, from smartphones to laptops. Powered by Navitas GaNSense Gen 4 IC, it combines efficiency, durability, and global standards like PD 3.0, PPS, and QC 3.0.

For the Indian market, which is seeing growth in D2C across categories, Cuzor is a fresh story in brand building. This funding shows investor belief in D2C valuations and models where IP, manufacturing, and product differentiation meet digital strategies.

As more VC-backed D2C brands get ready for IPOs or acquisitions, companies like Cuzor are setting the stage with specific innovations and a clear market strategy. This funding shows how new electronics startups are gaining investor confidence and changing what consumers expect. With a focus on product quality, Cuzor aims to be one of the best D2C brands in consumer electronics.
