Imagimake Play Solutions secures ₹34 Cr investment from Pidilite Ventures to fuel innovation and global expansion

Imagimake Play Solutions, a D2C brand known for its creative educational toys, just received ₹34 crore in funding from Pidilite Ventures.This second funding round, which includes both primary and secondary capital, will support Imagimake’s plans to grow its manufacturing, improve its research and development, and expand its reach worldwide.

Ravi Kumar and Disha Katharani founded Imagimake, which has become a well-known name in the Indian D2C market. They mix fun with education through their toys, puzzles, and hobby kits. The company has over 120 products, including brands like Mapology and Mission Chandrayaan, designed to make playtime both fun and educational.

Pidilite Ventures is investing again after participating in Imagimake’s ₹20 crore Series A round in 2023. This shows they still have faith in the brand’s future. Imagimake’s products are sold in 4,000 stores in India and exported to over 30 countries, with the United States being its largest international market. That makes it one of the fastest-growing D2C brands in India focused on children’s play and learning.

Sanket Parekh, a Director at Pidilite Ventures, commented that Imagimake has grown a lot in the past two years by coming up with new products, increasing its sales, and going global. He thinks the company is in a good spot to become a top brand in the play and learning space.

Disha Katharani says that play is important for developing curiosity, skills, and creativity. She believes this funding will help them create more new products and reach more kids around the world.

Ravi Kumar, another co-founder, mentioned that Pidilite is a company they have always respected. He added that their continued support shows confidence in their plans to increase capacity, invest in product development, and grow internationally. With this funding, Imagimake plans to increase its presence in the Indian D2C market and enter new global markets through a strong sales strategy.
