Miss Mosa by Akanksha Records ₹64 Cr Turnover in FY25, Strengthening Its Position Among India’s Fastest-Growing D2C Fashion Brands

Miss Mosa, formerly Alamode by Akanksha, is an admiring D2C story, hitting ₹64 crore in annual turnover for FY25. Started as a fashion idea in Haldwani, Uttarakhand, it’s now one of India’s quickly growing D2C fashion and lifestyle brands, changing how people buy affordable, trendy styles online.

In 2016, siblings Akanksha and Jayant Sethi began Miss Mosa with just an Instagram page and no outside help. They went from taking orders through DMs to serving over a million customers across the country, showing how Indian D2C consumer habits have changed and what digital-first entrepreneurship can do.

In 2020, the founders moved to a pure D2C model, using data to make decisions and growing through community. Since then, Miss Mosa has grown by 100% each year, from ₹11 crore in FY21 to ₹64 crore in FY25. They have fulfilled over 2.5 lakh orders, with a 35% repeat purchase rate, and have made a total of ₹187 crore by FY25. This makes them a rare bootstrapped D2C success in the fashion world, which is often full of VC-backed brands.

Now located in Gurgaon, Miss Mosa proves that strong customer relations, good stories, and an efficient D2C supply chain can build premium D2C brands sustainably, without needing outside funds. The founders’ attention to operations and profits has let the company grow naturally while keeping healthy margins.

Akanksha Sethi said, “Our story shows that you don’t need big cities or lots of money to have great fashion ideas—you just need big dreams. We’ve built Miss Mosa by listening to what our customers want and giving them fashion that’s affordable, trendy, and reliable.”

Jayant Sethi added, “We’ve always wanted to build a lean, profitable, and data-driven D2C model. Growing sustainably without outside funding proves that lasting expansion in D2C fashion and lifestyle is possible.”

The recent change from Alamode by Akanksha to Miss Mosa by Akanksha shows the brand’s next step: expanding its D2C plans, creating a global image, and telling better brand stories. They expect to exceed ₹110 crore in turnover in FY26 and become one of the top-performing D2C brands FY25, known not only for expansion but also for authenticity and customer relations.

As D2C industry news talks about new brands entering India’s growing fashion and lifestyle D2C market, Miss Mosa’s development shows that purpose and customer focus can create global success stories from small-town India. This proves that the future of Indian fashion is direct, digital, and personal.
