NEWME Accelerates Offline Expansion Across Tier I and Tier II Cities, Strengthening Omnichannel D2C Growth

India’s D2C fashion landscape continues to evolve rapidly, and NEWME is emerging as one of the fastest-scaling Gen Z-first brands shaping this transformation. In a strong signal of confidence in offline retail, the D2C fashion brand has significantly expanded its physical footprint with the launch of three new stores in a single day across Jaipur, Surat, and Pune. With these additions, NEWME now operates 21 offline stores across 12 cities, reinforcing its omnichannel D2C strategy across both Tier I and Tier II markets.

The expansion marks NEWME’s entry into Jaipur with its first-ever high-street store in the city. Spread across 3,000 square feet, the Jaipur outlet is also the brand’s first two-floor retail format, reflecting a more immersive, experience-led approach to offline D2C retail. Jaipur has already been a strong online market for the brand, and the offline debut aims to deepen engagement with Gen Z consumers who increasingly seek tactile, social, and content-driven shopping experiences. The store design blends local, heritage-inspired elements with NEWME’s contemporary, trend-forward identity and includes a dedicated in-store content creation zone—underscoring the brand’s creator-led D2C playbook.

In Surat and Pune, NEWME has added new outlets to build on existing traction, indicating sustained offline demand beyond metro cities. These launches highlight how Tier II markets are becoming critical growth engines for D2C brands India-wide, especially in fashion and lifestyle categories. As Indian D2C updates increasingly show, young consumers in emerging cities are driving demand for fast-moving trends, affordable pricing, and omnichannel convenience.

Offline retail has now become a meaningful contributor to NEWME’s overall business. Physical stores account for around 22 percent of total revenue, validating the brand’s belief that brick-and-mortar retail is a powerful complement to digital-first growth. According to Sumit Jasoria, Co-founder and CEO, the surge in demand from Tier II cities has accelerated NEWME’s offline expansion plans, with the brand prioritising high-potential markets and culturally relevant store formats.

Looking ahead, NEWME plans to open 10 additional stores over the next three months as part of its 2026 growth roadmap. The expansion will span a mix of Tier I and Tier II cities, with a sharper focus on the North-East, a region that is increasingly visible in D2C market trends 2025. Recent store launches in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR further strengthen the brand’s national presence and support long-term D2C business India ambitions.

Alongside offline scale-up, NEWME is also investing heavily in speed and convenience. Its quick-commerce service, NEWME Zip, has seen strong adoption in Bengaluru and Delhi, enabling near-instant delivery for trend-led fashion. The brand plans to roll out NEWME Zip in additional cities, further integrating offline stores, online channels, and quick commerce D2C capabilities into a unified ecosystem.

As India’s D2C ecosystem matures, NEWME’s strategy reflects a broader shift toward omnichannel D2C models that combine physical discovery, digital engagement, and rapid fulfilment. With aggressive expansion plans, strong Gen Z resonance, and a growing offline contribution, NEWME is positioning itself as one of the latest D2C startups building scalable, future-ready fashion businesses in India.
