Indian Haircare startup &Done just announced a ₹6.5 crore pre-seed funding round, led by All In Capital, with participation from M.G. Investments and angel investors. This investment will go towards growing the team, creating new products, and expanding the direct-to-consumer (D2C) business in India and abroad.

Founded in 2025 by Saumya Yadav (IIT Delhi, Stanford GSB, ex-founder of Udayy) and Atit Jain (BITS Pilani, ex-Elevation Capital, co-founder of Pluss and Bulbul), &Done is aiming to become a go-to professional haircare brand for Indian hair types and weather. They want to fill the gap in the country’s $3.8 billion haircare market, which is expected to hit $6 billion by 2030, thanks to the increasing demand for premium products and the growth of D2C.
Since launching, &Done has partnered with over 1,500 stylists in 300+ top salons in Tier 1 cities. They’re combining a salon distribution style with a direct-to-consumer product line featuring professional-level shampoos and conditioners for at-home use. This mix puts &Done in a good position.
Aditya Singh, Co-founder of All In Capital, said that haircare is hard to grow in the D2C beauty space because people judge the products so fast. &Done gets this and has created science-backed products that work. He said that as Indian beauty customers want better quality, &Done is in a perfect place to build the future of professional haircare in India.
Saumya Yadav, Co-founder of &Done, added that they want to create a professional haircare brand for Indian hair and climate. She noted that Indian salons still depend on brands that aren’t right for this environment. With &Done, they’re crafting a solution for Indian customers who want results from the start which means Indian hair can finally have its own performance-driven brand.
Using ingredients from around the world, &Done’s haircare products focus on fixing, nourishing, and protecting hair from heat, pollution, and chemical stuff—the main causes of hair damage for Indian customers. The products are tested to show repair right away, mixing science with a great D2C experience.
The startup’s focus on salons and D2C growth matches trends in the 2025 market, where retail and omnichannel plans are changing beauty distribution in India. By mixing salon know-how with consumer access, &Done is creating a model that could change how personal care brands grow in India.
In the next three years, &Done plans to grow in India and other countries, offering solutions for hair types and needs. This shows a wave of VC-backed D2C brands that are combining local knowledge with global goals.
