Simply Nam, the beauty brand founded by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni and entrepreneur Hanna Strömgren Khan, has secured funding from the Bhaane Group, led by Anand S. Ahuja. This strategic investment aims to bolster Simply Nam’s product portfolio, scale operations, and more than double its monthly recurring revenue (MRR) over the next year.

Simply Nam, established in 2020, positions itself as India’s first celebrity makeup artist-owned beauty brand, focusing on professional-grade, vegan, and cruelty-free products tailored for Indian skin tones and climates. The brand’s offerings include popular items like the Ultimate Kajal, Sweet Kisses Hydrating Lip Balm, and Dawn to Dusk Eyeshadow Palette.
The recent funding from the Bhaane Group marks a significant milestone for Simply Nam. Co-founder Namrata Soni expressed that the investment is not just financial but also a testament to the shared vision and trust between the teams. Having collaborated with Sonam Kapoor for over 17 years, Soni finds it meaningful to build the brand alongside Kapoor and Ahuja.
Simply Nam has experienced exponential growth, doubling its customer base in the past year and maintaining a 40% returning customer rate. With an average MRR of ₹2 crore, the brand is rapidly expanding across digital and quick-commerce platforms like Nykaa, Amazon, Myntra, Tira Beauty, Zepto, and Blinkit.
Co-founder Hanna Strömgren Khan emphasized that the partnership with the Bhaane Group is a launchpad for the brand’s next phase, enabling the introduction of more high-performance products, scaling educational content, and expanding its omnichannel footprint across India.
