UClean, India’s biggest laundry and dry-cleaning chain, is moving into the United Arab Emirates, a big move for its plans to grow worldwide.

Started in 2017 by Arunabh Sinha and Gunjan Taneja, UClean has become a well-known brand in India. It runs almost 700 stores in 200 cities and helps over 2 million customers each year. With many franchise locations, the company is now growing to nine countries, including Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Somalia, Mauritius, and the UAE. The goal is to have over 1,000 locations around the world in the next year and a half.

UClean lets customers watch their washing and dry-cleaning, which sets it apart from other brands. This open and new way of doing things has helped UClean become a top cleaning brand in India. Besides laundry, the company also does home and furniture cleaning, making it a complete cleaning service.

The move into the UAE shows UClean wants to bring Indian brands to the world stage. According to Founder & CEO Arunabh Sinha, UClean is changing the laundry business by making good laundry services available to everyone, just like Domino’s and Subway did with food franchises. The positive reaction from business owners in the Middle East shows that UClean’s franchise plan can be expanded and create local business chances while keeping service quality high.

UClean’s global growth is backed by solid funding and smart investments. The company has gathered about $1.6 million from investors, including Franchise India Holdings, Rajiv Jalan, and US investor Anubhav Chopra. Bollywood actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu were early supporters of the brand. This money helps UClean improve how it sells to customers through different channels, combining physical stores with online marketing to get more attention, bring in customers, and boost sales.

The brand is also working on training through its UClean Pathshala program, which makes sure service is consistent across all franchises worldwide. By keeping training and operations the same, UClean makes its business stronger and ensures customers have a good experience, which builds trust and loyalty.

With its latest location in the UAE, UClean is becoming one of the fastest-growing brands in the cleaning and personal care market. The brand’s focus on being open, new ideas, and franchise growth matches the trends in India, where online plans, fast service, and customer-focused offers are setting new standards. As UClean keeps growing in Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East, it shows how Indian startups are growing globally by using strong branding, investor help, and good operations to reach new markets and grow steadily.
