Preventify, an Indian healthcare startup that runs clinics, just got ₹2 crore in funding led by PedalStart. Other investors in this round include Viren Shetty from Narayana Health, Jatin Kakrani from Dezy, the founders of Supertails and Agrizy, and some healthcare execs.
This funding is a big step for Preventify. They want to make good healthcare more available, especially in smaller cities where it’s not easy to find consistent, long-term care. This also shows a trend where healthcare startups are mixing physical clinics with online tools.

Nirmal NR and Dr. Rakesh started Preventify. They run clinics that focus on helping people prevent and manage ongoing health problems. Right now, they have three clinics in Kerala and have already seen over 40,000 patients. Their programs help people with things like diabetes, high blood pressure, and breathing issues. They combine clinic visits with online monitoring, check-ups, tests, and medicine.
They’ll use this new money to open their first group of 10 clinics, which is important for their growth plan. By opening clinics in nearby areas, they want to make sure everyone gets the same level of care, improve health results, and keep costs down.
Preventify will also put money into their tech, including digital records, remote monitoring, test integration, and pharmacy systems. This is part of a bigger trend where healthcare startups are creating systems that connect in-person care with online tools.
In the next year or so, Preventify wants to grow in Kerala and invest in their team – doctors, nurses, and other staff – to make sure they’re providing consistent, quality care. They’re also creating subscription programs to help patients stay on track and get better results over time.
Preventify is trying to change how people in India approach healthcare – from only treating problems when they arise to preventing them and managing them long-term. As more people in smaller cities deal with lifestyle-related health issues, the need for reliable, affordable care is growing. This puts Preventify in a good spot in the changing healthcare market, where trust and long-term relationships are key.
PedalStart will also work with Preventify to help with their growth plans, operations, and expansion. This partnership brings extra expertise to the table.
With a strong team, early success, and a plan for growth, Preventify is becoming a company to watch in the healthcare space. As healthcare in India becomes more local and digital, Preventify’s approach could be a good model for bringing preventive care to underserved areas.
