GOBOULT Targets ₹3,000 Cr Revenue by FY28, Sharpens Premium Push in India’s D2C Wearables Market

Indian wearables and audio brand GOBOULT has laid out a bold, multi-year growth roadmap anchored in premiumisation, profitability, and long-term brand building, as it eyes a significant scale-up within India’s rapidly evolving Direct-to-Consumer India ecosystem. After closing FY25 with revenues of approximately ₹800 crore, the company is now targeting ₹3,000 crore in revenue by FY27–FY28, signalling a decisive shift from discount-led volume growth to a premium-first D2C business India strategy.

This pivot reflects a broader recalibration underway across the D2C ecosystem India, where brands are increasingly prioritising margins, brand equity, and differentiated product storytelling over aggressive price competition. GOBOULT’s approach centres on building a carefully curated portfolio of mid-premium and premium wearables and audio products, positioning itself firmly among premium D2C brands India rather than competing at the commoditised end of the market.

A defining pillar of this transformation has been GOBOULT’s deepening partnership with Mustang, which has now entered its third year. Unlike conventional licensing deals often seen in celebrity-backed D2C startups or co-branded launches, GOBOULT’s collaboration with Mustang is design-led and ecosystem-driven. The Indian brand remains the only wearables company in the country to integrate a global automotive performance icon into a cohesive audio and wearables portfolio, making this partnership a standout example within Indian D2C updates and D2C brand building stories.

As part of the next phase of this collaboration, GOBOULT has announced a new Mustang-led lineup comprising three smartwatches—Stallion, Racer, and Muscle—alongside the Mustang Sprint TWS. These launches underline the company’s D2C product launches strategy, where design, aspiration, and performance converge. Mustang-led products, which currently generate around ₹2 crore in revenue, are projected to scale to ₹12 crore in the upcoming phase, reinforcing the commercial impact of premium-led D2C expansion plans.

According to Varun Gupta, Co-founder at GOBOULT, the brand’s ambition to build a ₹3,000 crore wearables and audio business is rooted not just in scale, but in how that scale is achieved. By embedding Mustang’s confidence, character, and performance DNA into product design, GOBOULT is aiming to elevate everyday consumer electronics into aspirational lifestyle products—an approach increasingly resonant with India’s D2C consumer behavior trends.

At present, audio products contribute nearly 70% of GOBOULT’s revenue, with wearables accounting for the remaining 30%. However, this mix is expected to evolve rapidly. By FY26, mid-premium and premium products are projected to contribute close to 70% of overall revenue, supporting stronger margins and reinforcing the company’s premium positioning within the D2C industry news landscape. Wearables, in particular, are expected to command a larger share as the brand deepens its presence across higher-value segments.

Offline expansion is also set to play a critical role in GOBOULT’s next growth chapter. The company plans to increase offline contribution from 20% to 40%, driven by rising demand and retail expansion across Tier-II and Tier-III cities. This omnichannel D2C strategy reflects a growing recognition that physical retail remains a powerful trust and discovery engine for premium D2C electronics and gadgets.

Looking further ahead, GOBOULT has outlined plans for international expansion across the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and East Asia by 2030. In the near term, however, the focus remains firmly on disciplined growth, premiumisation, and building a sustainable D2C business model India—without heavy reliance on discounting. As India’s D2C market news increasingly spotlights brands scaling with intent, GOBOULT’s premium-first roadmap positions it as a noteworthy contender in the next phase of India’s D2C evolution.
