30 Sundays Raises $6.7 Million Led by Bessemer to Expand AI-Powered Travel Platform

Gurugram-based travel tech startup 30 Sundays has raised $6.7 million in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Info Edge Ventures and Eximius.

The latest investment follows the startup’s earlier $770,000 funding round and will be used to expand its product portfolio, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, grow its team, invest in brand building and marketing, and support expansion into new geographies and customer segments.

Founded in 2024 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj Punjani, 30 Sundays specializes in customized romantic and honeymoon travel experiences. The startup leverages generative AI to automate key functions, including itinerary planning, customer qualification, and booking, enabling a more efficient and personalized travel planning process.

As part of its growth strategy, the company recently expanded into New Zealand and Mauritius and now plans to enter additional international destinations, including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines.

According to the company, 30 Sundays has reached an annualised gross booking value (GBV) run rate of around ₹200 crore, driven by strong demand across popular travel destinations such as Bali, Vietnam, the Maldives, and Thailand.

The startup has also integrated AI across its sales and operations, automating processes including lead qualification, itinerary creation, customer follow-ups, and reservations. According to the company, these AI-driven workflows have resulted in a twofold improvement in sales team productivity, supporting faster customer service and greater operational efficiency.

With international leisure travel continuing to grow, 30 Sundays is positioning itself as an AI-first travel platform focused on personalised vacation experiences. The fresh capital is expected to strengthen its technology platform, expand its destination network, and accelerate growth across new customer segments while enhancing its brand presence in the travel market.
