WishCare Crosses ₹300 Crore ARR as Kolkata Beauty Brand Accelerates Growth

Kolkata-based beauty and personal care brand WishCare has crossed ₹300 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking a significant milestone in its growth journey. Reports also suggest that the founders currently own 85% of the company and may explore selling a majority stake at a ₹3,000 crore valuation.

The company’s financial growth has been rapid. Revenue increased from ₹19 crore in FY23 to ₹202 crore in FY25, representing nearly 10x growth in just two years. Looking ahead, WishCare has set an ambitious target of ₹500 crore in FY27, reflecting its continued focus on scaling within India’s expanding beauty and personal care market.

Founded by Stuti Kothari, Ankit Kothari, and Ayush Kothari, WishCare began with a simple idea inspired by Stuti Kothari’s search for an effective haircare solution. Starting with rice water-based products, the brand has grown into a nationwide player focused on evidence-based beauty and personal care solutions.

Today, WishCare serves more than 5 million customers across 15+ marketplaces, including Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Purplle, Blinkit, alongside its own direct-to-consumer website.

The company operates in India’s rapidly growing beauty and personal care (BPC) market, currently valued at $26–33 billion and projected to reach $65–74 billion by the early 2030s, with the mid-premium segment (₹500–₹1,500)—WishCare’s core price range—growing at an estimated 18% CAGR.

WishCare also received early institutional backing from Unilever Ventures, which led its ₹20 crore funding round in 2023, validating the founders’ vision before the brand’s rapid scale-up.

Competing alongside established names such as Dot & Key, Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Minimalist, Pilgrim, Plum, and Innovist, WishCare has positioned itself as one of India’s fastest-growing skincare and haircare brands. Its strong revenue growth, omnichannel presence, and expanding customer base highlight its emergence as a notable player in the country’s evolving D2C beauty ecosystem.
