Scrubsy Raises ₹27 Crore to Expand Manufacturing and AI-Driven Product Innovation

Gurugram-based home-cleaning products startup Scrubsy has raised ₹27 crore (approximately $3 million) in a funding round led by V3 Ventures, marking an important milestone in its journey to build a technology-driven, consumer-first home care brand.

Operating under BoldChem Science Pvt. Ltd., Scrubsy follows a direct-to-consumer (D2C) model, offering a range of cleaning solutions designed for everyday household needs. The fresh capital will primarily be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen business operations, and continue investing in the company’s in-house product development capabilities.

Founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain, and Aditya Bhasin, Scrubsy focuses on developing cleaning products for kitchens, bathrooms, and footwear. Its product portfolio includes foam-based kitchen cleaners, bathroom cleaners, and shoe-cleaning solutions, catering to consumers seeking effective and convenient cleaning products.

A defining aspect of Scrubsy’s strategy is its vertically integrated operating model. The company develops, formulates, and manufactures its products entirely in-house, allowing it to maintain greater control over product quality, innovation, and manufacturing efficiency. This approach also enables faster product iterations based on evolving consumer preferences.

Technology plays a central role in the startup’s product development process. Scrubsy uses artificial intelligence to analyse customer reviews, identify recurring cleaning challenges, and convert consumer feedback into actionable product improvements. By integrating AI into research and development, the company aims to create products that address real-world household cleaning problems while accelerating innovation cycles.

The latest funding is expected to strengthen these capabilities further, supporting investments in manufacturing infrastructure alongside continued research and product development. As demand for specialised, premium home-cleaning products continues to grow in India, the company is positioning itself around innovation, consumer insights, and operational control.

The investment also reflects continued interest in India’s consumer products ecosystem from early-stage investors. V3 Ventures, an early-stage consumer-focused investment firm backed by Verlinvest, has built a portfolio that includes brands such as Ugaoo, Deconstruct, Salad Days, go zero, and The Hosteller, highlighting its focus on emerging consumer businesses with scalable growth potential.

With fresh capital, an AI-enabled product development approach, and an integrated manufacturing model, Scrubsy is aiming to strengthen its position in India’s evolving home-cleaning market while expanding its product innovation capabilities and long-term manufacturing scale.
