Swaadly Crosses 1 Lakh Orders in Just Six Months

Swaadly has crossed 1 lakh orders within just six months, emerging as one of India’s fastest-growing bootstrapped food brands. Backed by entrepreneur Prashant Kirad, the brand’s rapid rise highlights how product quality, customer trust, and consistent execution can create strong consumer brands without relying on massive marketing budgets.

From the very beginning, Swaadly focused on building customer trust through experience rather than promotions. The company offered free deliveries from day one, helping remove friction for first-time buyers while reinforcing a customer-first approach. As demand accelerated, the brand expanded its reach to more than 19,000 PIN codes across India, transforming a simple product idea into a nationwide D2C food brand.

Instead of competing for existing peanut butter consumers, Swaadly chose to expand the category itself. The brand targeted a younger audience and positioned peanut butter as an everyday food rather than a product limited to fitness enthusiasts. This strategy helped introduce new consumers to the category while significantly broadening its addressable market.

A key growth driver has been the brand’s chocolate peanut butter, which now contributes nearly 90% of total sales. By offering flavours that appeal to mainstream Indian consumers, Swaadly successfully moved peanut butter beyond gyms and fitness communities into everyday kitchens, creating a differentiated position in an increasingly competitive market.

The company’s momentum has also been supported by the trust Prashant Kirad has built with millions of students over the years. Rather than depending heavily on paid customer acquisition, Swaadly leveraged an existing community, allowing it to grow efficiently while maintaining a strong connection with consumers.

Today, Swaadly processes around 8,000 monthly orders and continues expanding its nationwide distribution network. The brand’s journey reflects a growing trend across India’s D2C ecosystem, where product innovation, community-led growth, and customer experience are becoming stronger competitive advantages than large advertising spends.

As India’s packaged food market continues to evolve, Swaadly’s early success demonstrates how bootstrapped brands can build meaningful scale by solving real consumer needs and creating products that resonate with a broader audience. With nationwide availability, a growing customer base, and continued focus on execution, the brand’s growth story appears to be only getting started.
