Indoor air-quality company YOGa Clean Air has raised ₹20 crore in a Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital.
The fresh capital will support YOGa Clean Air’s expansion across existing and new markets, particularly Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. The company also plans to extend its technology beyond indoor spaces into public transport and other outdoor environments.

Founded in 2019 by Sachin Panwar, Deepak Raina and Gaurav Nagar, the Gurugram-based startup is building solutions around its patented Clean Air Bubble technology. Unlike conventional air purification systems that primarily filter the air within a room, YOGa’s technology filters incoming air while maintaining slightly higher air pressure inside an enclosed space to prevent polluted outdoor air from entering.
The system also manages carbon dioxide levels, addressing another critical component of indoor air quality.
YOGa Clean Air currently serves more than 5,000 families and hundreds of institutions, including hospitals, schools, offices and gyms. Its presence spans 11 Indian cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The company holds two patents for its technology and claims that its systems have reduced indoor air pollution to single-digit levels even when outdoor pollution exceeded 900 µg/m³, while also maintaining controlled CO₂ levels. It further reports a 100% renewal rate for its annual maintenance contracts, indicating recurring demand for its air-quality systems.
The funding comes as India’s indoor air-quality market evolves beyond standalone air purifiers. Startups are increasingly developing specialised solutions across air-quality monitoring, HVAC-integrated filtration, pathogen control, plant-based purification and industrial emission control.
This broader shift is creating opportunities for companies addressing air pollution through infrastructure-led and technology-driven solutions rather than conventional consumer appliances alone.
For YOGa Clean Air, the Series A funding marks the next phase of commercial expansion. The company’s plans to enter more cities and explore applications in public transport and outdoor environments could significantly widen the addressable market for its Clean Air Bubble technology.
With air pollution continuing to affect homes, workplaces, schools and public spaces, demand for reliable air-quality infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. YOGa Clean Air is positioning itself at this intersection, combining patented technology with a recurring service model to build a broader clean-air ecosystem.
As it expands beyond its current 11-city footprint, the company will now look to translate its institutional and residential adoption into a larger national presence.
