Zigly Accelerates Omnichannel Growth to Build India’s Integrated Pet Care Ecosystem

The D2C pet care platform is expanding healthcare, grooming, retail, and digital services while targeting 70 outlets in FY27.

Zigly Pet Care is accelerating its next phase of growth with a strategy focused on building one of India’s largest integrated pet care ecosystems. The omnichannel platform plans to expand its network to 66–71 Pet Care Centres over the next 12 months, reinforcing its position across healthcare, grooming, nutrition, retail, and digital commerce.

Founded in 2021 as the direct-to-consumer (D2C) pet care business of Cosmo First Ltd., Zigly was created to provide pet parents with a one-stop destination for products and services. Today, the company serves more than 71,000 customers through 46 Pet Care Centres across 19 cities, combining veterinary care, diagnostics, grooming, wellness, training support, nutrition, fashion, and accessories under a single omnichannel ecosystem.

The company’s expansion strategy prioritises strengthening its presence in established markets, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Mumbai, while selectively entering two or three additional cities. Rather than pursuing rapid geographic expansion, Zigly aims to deepen customer engagement in existing markets and continue scaling its integrated service model.

Its omnichannel approach extends beyond physical retail. Alongside its own website, Zigly sells through marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart, while recently expanding into quick commerce through Zepto and Blinkit. Each Pet Care Centre also functions as a fulfilment hub, enabling faster online deliveries and creating a seamless shopping experience across channels.

The brand’s product portfolio includes more than 5,000 SKUs spanning pet food, treats, healthcare products, toys, grooming essentials, wellness solutions, fashion, and accessories. Private label products currently contribute 20–25% of total product sales, with the company planning selective expansion in nutrition-led categories where it sees long-term differentiation.

Looking ahead, Zigly’s growth roadmap includes expanding its veterinary network, standardising healthcare services, strengthening its omnichannel capabilities, investing in AI and analytics, and growing through strategic acquisitions where appropriate.

The business is already demonstrating strong momentum. Zigly recorded 70% year-on-year revenue growth in the previous fiscal year and currently operates at an annualised GMV run rate exceeding ₹100 crore. The company attributes this growth to increasing pet humanisation, rising awareness around pet wellness, and growing demand for organised pet care services.

As India’s pet care industry continues to evolve, Zigly aims to double its business over the next 12 months by combining technology, healthcare, retail, and customer-centric services into a unified pet care ecosystem.
