Zigly Targets 60-65 Pet Care Centres as Omnichannel Expansion Accelerates

Pet care brand Zigly is accelerating its nationwide expansion, with plans to grow from 46 centres across 19 cities to around 60-65 centres by the end of FY27, as it builds an integrated omnichannel ecosystem combining veterinary care, grooming, retail, diagnostics, and digital convenience.

Launched in 2021, Zigly has positioned itself as a one-stop destination for pet parents. Its centres bring together veterinary OPDs, diagnostics, X-ray facilities, surgeries, grooming salons, spas, and retail under one roof, with more than 1,500 SKUs available across pet care categories. The model is designed to support pet parents throughout the entire pet parenting journey, particularly as nearly 67% of pet parents are first-time owners seeking trusted guidance.

The brand currently operates across key markets including Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and cities across Punjab. Zigly is opening an average of two centres every month and plans to deepen its presence in existing markets while selectively entering new cities. The company is also exploring multiple partnerships with existing clinics, hospitals, and veterinarians after completing two transactions last year.

Digital commerce is emerging as another major growth engine. Online channels currently contribute nearly 22-25% of overall revenue through Zigly’s website, marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms. Its physical centres also operate as fulfilment hubs, allowing the brand to serve customers across its 19-city network while supporting repeat purchases and faster delivery. Zigly is further expanding digital healthcare through teleconsultation and Vet-at-Home services.

Changing consumer behaviour is creating new opportunities across India’s pet care market. Pet parents are increasingly prioritising convenience, preventive healthcare, professional grooming, premium nutrition, and product transparency. Demand is also expanding beyond metros, with Tier II markets including Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, and cities across Punjab showing strong growth.

While dry food remains Zigly’s largest category, the company is seeing faster growth in wet food, nutritional products, and lifestyle accessories. It has also developed four private labels spanning pet food, grooming, cat care, and lifestyle accessories.

Alongside commercial growth, the Zigly Foundation recently partnered with the Government of Delhi and municipal bodies to vaccinate and microchip more than 5,000 street dogs and launched Zigly Cares, a dedicated food range for strays.

With plans to double its business in FY27, Zigly is combining retail expansion, digital healthcare, private labels, partnerships, and omnichannel growth to build a comprehensive pet care ecosystem across India.
