Aditi Toys, an Indian toy company, just got about $3.9 million in funding led by Gujarat Venture Finance Limited. Some of Aditi Toys’ friends and family also chipped in, which shows they believe in the company and the Indian toy market.
This new cash is big for the direct-to-consumer (D2C) scene in India, especially for electronics, gadgets, and toys made locally. Aditi Toys will use the money to make better products, make more toys, and sell them in India and other countries.

Subhash Zala and Arvind Zala started Aditi Toys in 2015. The company is in Rajkot and makes all kinds of toys, like plastic, metal, electronic, science-related, silicone, and wooden toys. They make over 280 different toys and are becoming a major player in India’s toy industry.
Aditi Toys has a big factory in Rajkot where they can make a lot of toys while keeping the quality high and inventing new things. With this recent funding, they plan to invest more in tools, creating new toys, and ways to make toys so they can be competitive in India and around the world.
Aditi Toys sells toys online and directly to customers under the brand Chanak – The Smartest Kid. They also make toys for other big brands like Hasbro, FirstCry, Amazon, and Miniso. This shows they’re good at manufacturing and that there’s a demand for Indian-made toys.
The company sells to over 150 distributors and 15,000 stores, plus they send toys to over 12 countries. This shows that Indian toys are getting popular worldwide.
The Indian government is trying to boost local toy production to rely less on imports and become a major toy-making hub.
During the Union Budget 2025–26, Nirmala Sitharaman talked about the National Action Plan for Toys, which aims to make India’s toy industry stronger by creating manufacturing areas, training people, and supporting new ideas for making good toys that represent Made in India worldwide.
Because of these efforts, investors are paying more attention to toy startups. For example, Mirana Toys got about $6.4 million last year to build a better factory.
Aditi Toys getting this funding means investors are confident in Indian D2C brands and manufacturing startups. Aditi Toys focuses on science, electronic, and educational toys, which is what parents want for their kids.
Aditi Toys is a good example of an Indian manufacturing startup that’s building a D2C brand, exporting toys, and working with global partners to grow. As the Indian D2C scene grows, companies like Aditi Toys are showing that it’s possible to make globally competitive brands based on India’s manufacturing abilities.
With new funding, a good factory, and growing global demand, Aditi Toys is in a good spot to help India become a top place for toy innovation and production.
