Lenskart Q2 FY27 Revenue Jumps 36% to Rs 2,845 Crore; Net Profit Rises 2.3X to Rs 232 Crore

The eyewear company recorded strong growth across domestic and international markets, while improving profitability as revenue expansion outpaced the increase in operating expenses.

Lenskart reported a 36% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 2,845 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with Rs 2,096 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its net profit also more than doubled to Rs 232 crore from Rs 103 crore, marking a strong quarterly performance for the eyewear company.

Both domestic and international markets contributed to the company’s growth. Revenue from its India business increased 35.5% year-on-year to Rs 1,668 crore, while its international business grew 36.5% to Rs 1,201 crore during the quarter.

On a sequential basis, Lenskart’s operating revenue increased 5% from Rs 2,714 crore in Q1 FY27, indicating continued growth over the previous quarter.

On the expense front, the cost of materials remained the largest expenditure component, accounting for approximately 33% of total expenses. This cost increased 31% year-on-year to Rs 854 crore in Q2 FY27.

Employee benefit expenses rose 25% to Rs 627 crore from Rs 503 crore in the year-ago quarter. Finance costs and depreciation were among the other major expense heads. Overall, total expenses increased 22% to Rs 2,597 crore during the quarter.

However, revenue growth outpaced expense growth, supporting a significant improvement in profitability. Lenskart’s net profit increased 2.3 times to Rs 232 crore, while its EBITDA rose 50% to Rs 622 crore. The company reported an EBITDA margin of 21.86%.

The latest results highlight Lenskart’s ability to maintain growth across its domestic and international operations while improving its financial performance. With both markets recording growth of over 35%, international expansion continues to contribute meaningfully alongside its India business.

At the close of the latest trading session, Lenskart shares stood at Rs 689.70, giving the company a market capitalisation of Rs 1,19,960 crore, or approximately $12.6 billion.
