Alienkind Raises $3.2 Million Pre-Series A to Accelerate India’s Next-Generation QSR Expansion

India’s D2C ecosystem continues to attract investor confidence as Alienkind, a fast-growing next-generation QSR and beverage brand, has raised $3.2 million in a pre-Series A funding round from existing investors, including Prakash Sikaria, Flipkart Senior Vice President Ravi Iyer, Arpan Sheth, and other prominent backers. The latest D2C funding round follows the Bengaluru-based startup’s $1.2 million Seed round raised in April 2025 at a $10 million valuation, highlighting strong investor conviction in its long-term vision.

Founded in 2024 by Vikram Kakkireni and Abhishek Kumar, Alienkind is building a new-age Direct-to-Consumer India food and beverage brand that combines 100% fresh functional wellness beverages with innovative QSR offerings such as its signature Starship Burgers. Designed for Gen Z and health-conscious urban consumers, the brand blends minimalist, sci-fi-inspired retail spaces with preservative-free beverages and plant-forward meals, creating a differentiated consumer experience within India’s rapidly evolving D2C food and beverage brands category.

The fresh capital will support Alienkind’s next phase of D2C expansion plans, enabling the company to enter new markets, strengthen operations, and accelerate its retail footprint across India. The startup aims to redefine the modern QSR experience through immersive brand environments, category-defining products, and community-driven experiences that resonate with today’s digitally native consumers.

Since launch, Alienkind has built strong momentum through its distinctive brand positioning, accessible pricing strategy, and consumer-first approach. The company is now targeting an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $10 million by the end of FY27 while planning to expand to 100 stores across major Indian cities by FY28. These ambitious milestones reflect the growing opportunity within India’s premium food, wellness, and Direct-to-Consumer segments, where consumers increasingly seek healthier products alongside memorable brand experiences.

Alienkind’s latest funding reinforces the broader momentum across the Indian D2C ecosystem, where investors continue backing disruptive consumer brands focused on innovation, experience, and scalable growth. As D2C brands India continue to reshape consumer behaviour, Alienkind is positioning itself among the fastest-growing D2C brands, combining wellness, premiumisation, and experiential retail to build a distinctive presence in India’s competitive QSR landscape. The funding also reflects growing confidence in brands that integrate product innovation, community building, and omnichannel growth, further strengthening the future of D2C business India.
