The clean-food brand will expand its retail footprint, strengthen consumer awareness, and widen its portfolio as demand for traceable, pesticide-free staples grows.
DeHaat Honest Farms, the pesticide-free consumer food brand launched by DeHaat, has raised ₹35 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by OTP Ventures, with participation from Sadev Capital and Maiuni Ventures. The company has also appointed DeHaat co-founder Adarsh J Srivastava as Chief Executive Officer, as it prepares for its next phase of expansion.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate geographic expansion, build awareness around pesticide-free food, and strengthen new product development across its portfolio.
DeHaat Honest Farms aims to bridge the gap between Indian farms and consumer households by offering pesticide-free food sourced directly from farmers, with an emphasis on quality, transparency, and traceability.
The company sources products from DeHaat’s ecosystem of more than 13 million farmers, providing access to a broad agricultural network while supporting consistent sourcing and traceability. According to the company, every product pack undergoes more than 230 quality checks and carries a pesticide-free certificate.
The brand currently offers more than 100 products spanning staples, superfoods, and everyday food essentials. Its products are available through over 3,000 retail stores across more than 120 cities, alongside leading quick-commerce, e-commerce, and modern-trade platforms.
This combination of offline and digital distribution gives Honest Farms multiple consumer access points as it works to make clean food more accessible across India.
Over the next 12–18 months, the company is targeting an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹200 crore. To support this ambition, it plans to expand its retail footprint from more than 3,000 stores to over 10,000 stores, potentially taking its products to millions of additional households.
The company’s growth strategy comes as India’s clean-label and pesticide-free food segment gains traction among consumers increasingly focused on food safety, traceability, chemical residues, and healthier everyday eating.
DeHaat Honest Farms is operating in a category that includes businesses such as Safe Harvest, which offers pesticide-free staples, grains, pulses, and spices, and Farmizen, which works on chemical-free food production and farm-to-consumer models.
For Honest Farms, the latest funding provides capital to expand distribution while building greater awareness around pesticide-free food. With its farmer network, quality-control process, growing product portfolio, and omnichannel distribution strategy, the brand is positioning itself to scale clean food consumption beyond niche audiences and into more Indian households.
