P•TAL Accelerates Retail Expansion with Hyderabad Flagship, Strengthens Omnichannel Growth

P•TAL (Punjab Thathera Art Legacy) has expanded its offline retail footprint with the launch of its first flagship experiential store in Hyderabad, reinforcing the brand’s omnichannel growth strategy and commitment to making traditional Indian craftsmanship more accessible through modern retail experiences.

Located in Banjara Hills, the new 2,000 sq. ft. flagship store, spread across two levels, marks the brand’s second flagship location after Delhi and represents the next phase of its retail expansion across India.

Designed around the philosophy of Shunya Mandal, the Hyderabad store combines contemporary retail design with immersive storytelling to showcase the craftsmanship behind P•TAL’s handcrafted brass, copper, and kansa products. Through curated installations and interactive displays, the brand aims to deepen consumer engagement while highlighting the heritage of India’s traditional metalcraft.

One of the store’s signature attractions is “Dhara: The Flow of Heritage,” a large suspended installation inspired by Hyderabad’s rich culinary traditions. Featuring a handcrafted brass patili measuring over seven feet in diameter and weighing nearly 600 kilograms, the installation illustrates the journey of raw metal into finished cookware while celebrating the UNESCO-recognised Thathera craft.

Another installation, “Ananta: The Tree of Endless Craft,” highlights the evolution of P•TAL’s craftsmanship and reflects the brand’s broader vision of preserving centuries-old artisan traditions through contemporary design.

The flagship houses nearly 70 SKUs across cookware, drinkware, serveware, dinnerware, and gifting categories. It also introduces customisable wedding gift boxes and baby hamper boxes, expanding P•TAL’s presence in the personalised gifting segment. Dedicated spaces for bespoke gifting, brand storytelling, and product demonstrations further enhance the in-store customer experience.

According to Aditya Agarwal, Co-Founder of P•TAL, Hyderabad was selected due to its strong cultural connection with food, hospitality, craftsmanship, and heritage. He added that every new store not only strengthens the brand’s retail presence but also creates sustained opportunities for artisan communities while helping preserve traditional Indian crafts for future generations.

With growing consumer demand for handcrafted homeware and premium gifting solutions, P•TAL is positioning its experiential stores as more than retail destinations. By combining heritage, storytelling, and modern retail formats, the brand is strengthening its omnichannel presence while building deeper connections with customers and expanding the reach of India’s traditional metal craftsmanship.
