The D2C cookware startup will strengthen product innovation, manufacturing, and expand its premium kitchen solutions portfolio.
D2C cookware startup Kroslo has raised ₹5 crore in seed funding to accelerate product development and strengthen its position in India’s growing premium cookware market. The round was led by Prath Ventures, which invested ₹3.12 crore, with participation from Indian Silicon Valley, Unacademy co-founder Roman Saini, and other angel investors.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s product design and manufacturing capabilities as it continues building premium, non-toxic cookware for Indian consumers.
Founded by Pranav and Aastha, Kroslo focuses on solving everyday cooking challenges through thoughtful product innovation. Before developing its products, the founders spoke with over 500 customers to understand the real friction points consumers face in their daily cooking routines.
At the centre of the company’s portfolio is its Tironox range of titanium enamel cast iron cookware, which Kroslo says is up to 50% lighter than conventional cast iron, while remaining naturally non-stick, rust-resistant, and scratch-resistant.
The startup also aims to address growing consumer concerns around traditional non-stick cookware. According to the company, scratched non-stick pans can release PTFE, PFOA, microplastics, and toxic fumes, creating demand for healthier alternatives. Kroslo’s product strategy is built around delivering durable, premium cookware that combines safety, functionality, and everyday convenience.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its product portfolio while strengthening its manufacturing capabilities as demand for healthier kitchen products continues to rise.
The investment also reflects growing investor confidence in founder-led consumer brands that focus on differentiated products and customer-centric innovation. By combining extensive consumer research with material innovation, Kroslo is positioning itself within India’s premium cookware segment, where health-conscious consumers are increasingly seeking long-lasting and safer kitchen solutions.
As the premium kitchenware category continues to evolve, Kroslo aims to build a modern Indian cookware brand that delivers healthier cooking experiences without compromising on performance or convenience.
