The petcare platform is scaling dark stores, veterinary clinics, private labels, and rapid delivery to build one of India’s largest integrated petcare ecosystems.
Petcare platform Supertails is significantly expanding its omnichannel presence as it targets becoming a ₹1,000 crore business over the next few years. The company plans to establish more than 100 dark stores and 100 veterinary clinics within the next three years, strengthening its integrated online and offline petcare ecosystem across India.

Currently operating 45 dark stores across Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai, Supertails offers 30-minute delivery for pet essentials. The company also runs 12 veterinary clinics in Bengaluru and plans to replicate its ecosystem across Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata as part of its next growth phase.
Supertails follows a structured expansion strategy by first establishing warehouses, followed by dark stores and clinics, creating a connected omnichannel network that combines commerce, healthcare, and convenience for pet parents.
The company’s growth trajectory remains strong. After recording approximately ₹125 crore revenue in FY25, Supertails expects revenue to reach ₹200 crore in FY26, while maintaining an annual growth rate of 80–100 percent.
Founded in 2021 as a pet food platform, Supertails has steadily diversified into teleconsultation, online pharmacy, pet healthcare, rapid delivery, non-food products, grooming, diagnostics, and private-label brands. Today, its marketplace offers products from more than 500 brands, while its in-house labels Henlo, Skater’s, and Scoopy contribute 6–8 percent of total revenue. The company also plans to introduce Henlo cat food during the current fiscal year.
One of the most notable trends driving Supertails’ growth is the rapid expansion of the cat care segment. While India’s overall petcare market is growing at 20–25 percent annually, the cat category is expanding even faster at 30–40 percent annually. Although cats represent only about 15 percent of India’s pet population, they currently contribute 60 percent of Supertails’ revenue, making them the platform’s largest business segment.
Offline healthcare is becoming another major growth pillar. Supertails’ clinics operate as multi-speciality pet hospitals, offering consultations, diagnostics, grooming, retail, surgeries, emergency care, and inpatient services under one roof. Each clinic spans 2,500–3,000 square feet, with investments ranging from ₹60 lakh to ₹1 crore.
Having raised $58 million to date, the company continues investing in clinic infrastructure, dark stores, diagnostics, and technology. While 95 percent of revenue currently comes from online operations, offline healthcare already contributes nearly 25 percent of business in Bengaluru, highlighting the growing importance of physical services.
With expanding infrastructure, rising pet adoption, rapid commerce capabilities, and an integrated healthcare model, Supertails is positioning itself to capture the growing opportunity in India’s organised petcare market while building a scalable, profitable omnichannel business.
