Kiddo Raises ₹12.5 Cr to Scale Baby-Focused Quick Commerce in Delhi NCR

The parenting commerce startup will use its pre-seed funding to expand dark stores, acquire customers and build technology for faster, life-stage-led shopping.

Baby-focused quick commerce startup Kiddo has raised ₹12.5 crore in pre-seed funding led by Campus Fund, with participation from a group of strategic angel investors. The fresh capital will support customer acquisition, dark store expansion across Delhi NCR, technology and product development, and team building.

Launched last year by Ankit Kawatra, Kiddo delivers baby-care and parenting essentials within minutes. The startup combines quick delivery with life-stage-based product recommendations, aiming to make shopping more relevant and convenient for parents.

Kiddo currently operates in Delhi NCR and plans to expand its dark store network by the end of the year. The company has curated more than 30,000 SKUs since inception across baby essentials, fashion and other parenting-related categories.

The startup is targeting high-income households and is building its proposition around speed, curated assortment and personalised discovery. Kiddo also claims its blended gross margin is higher than the typical margins of horizontal grocery quick commerce players, providing a differentiated operating model within the parenting commerce segment.

India’s baby-care market provides a large addressable opportunity for specialised commerce platforms. According to a market report, the country’s baby-care market stood at $31 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $56 billion by 2029, representing a CAGR of 13% to 14%.

The parenting and baby-commerce segment is also attracting competition from both specialised startups and established platforms. Kiddo competes with FirstCry, AllThingsBaby and OZi, each addressing different parts of the baby and kids’ shopping ecosystem.

Gurugram-based OZi raised $3.3 million in seed funding from Blume Ventures in October last year and later secured $6.2 million in Series A funding led by RTP Global in March 2026. The platform offers more than 15,000 products with delivery within 60 minutes.

Bengaluru-based Peeko has also built a baby-care-focused quick commerce model. It raised $3.2 million from Stellaris Venture Partners in August last year and secured ₹67.4 crore in Series A funding led by Chiratae Ventures in August 2026. Its assortment spans baby apparel, toys, gear and consumables.

Meanwhile, established player FirstCry is also expanding faster-delivery services as convenience becomes increasingly important in the parenting category.

For Kiddo, the latest funding provides capital to deepen its Delhi NCR presence while strengthening the technology, assortment and fulfilment infrastructure behind its quick-commerce proposition.

As parents increasingly seek faster access to everyday essentials, Kiddo is positioning its combination of specialised assortment, rapid delivery and life-stage recommendations as the foundation for scaling within India’s growing baby and parenting commerce market.
