The kitchen and home appliances brand is scaling e-commerce, quick commerce, smart appliances and new product categories as it builds a stronger omnichannel growth engine.
Wonderchef is targeting ₹600 crore in net sales this financial year, up from ₹486 crore last year and ₹426 crore the year before, as the kitchen and home appliances brand accelerates its digital and omnichannel strategy.
The company expects digital channels to contribute 50% of sales within the next five years, up from around 35% currently. Founder and CEO Ravi Saxena said digital sales have grown from approximately 25% to 35% of revenue over the past two to two-and-a-half years, driven partly by younger consumers entering their first homes and adopting digital-first shopping habits.

According to Saxena, digital sales are expected to grow at roughly twice the rate of general trade and modern trade for the brand. E-commerce, quick commerce and its wider omnichannel network are therefore becoming increasingly important to Wonderchef’s expansion.
The company is targeting 27% overall growth this year and expects around 30% growth during the festive season compared with the previous year. It is currently growing at around 20% year-on-year through internal cash flows, with no immediate plans to raise funds. EBITDA profitability remains in the single digits as the company continues investing in expansion.
Wonderchef has an omnichannel distribution footprint of nearly 23,000–24,000 retail points, including general trade, modern trade, e-commerce, quick commerce, army and police canteens, exclusive brand outlets, corporate gifting, exports and its women entrepreneur network.
Its physical network includes around 14,000 general trade doors, 2,000 modern trade doors, 4,000 army and police canteen points and 30 EBOs. The company plans to add 12 stores this financial year, equally split between company-owned and franchisee-operated outlets. Its stores typically span 500–600 sq ft and require an investment of approximately ₹30–40 lakh per outlet.
Product innovation remains central to the growth strategy. Wonderchef plans to launch 152 products in the current quarter ahead of the festive season, with the portfolio comprising 60% base products, 30% innovations and 10% niche segments.
Smart appliances, particularly the Magic series, have emerged as a key growth driver. The portfolio includes Chef Magic, Chai Magic and Roti Magic.
Coffee at home is another growing category. Wonderchef claims to have sold around 1.5 lakh domestic coffee machines in India last year and currently offers 16–17 machines in the segment.
Cookware is also evolving, with around 50% of sales now coming from newer materials such as triply steel and ceramic alongside traditional non-stick products. The company recently launched a vegetarian air fryer bundled with a 100-recipe cookbook, with initial stock selling out during pre-bookings.
International markets currently contribute less than 2% of revenue, despite distributors across around 15 countries, leaving further scope for expansion.
