HomeLane Targets ₹1,000 Crore Revenue in FY27 After Achieving Q4 EBITDA Profitability

The home interiors company reported 19% year-on-year revenue growth and a 37% increase in its order book in the first half of FY27.

HomeLane, a technology-enabled home interiors company, is targeting revenue of more than ₹1,000 crore in FY27 after achieving operating EBITDA profitability in the fourth quarter of FY26. The company reported quarterly revenue of ₹212 crore and an operating EBITDA margin of 5% in Q4 FY26, marking a key milestone in its profitability journey.

The company has maintained its growth momentum in the first half of FY27, with revenue increasing 19% year-on-year and its order book expanding 37%, according to unaudited management figures. HomeLane expects this order book growth to support revenue in the second half, as projects typically convert into revenue over six to nine months. It is also targeting full-year EBITDA profitability, supported by a leaner cost structure and a growing project pipeline.

HomeLane Improves Project Economics After DesignCafe Integration

FY26 was the first full financial year in which HomeLane and DesignCafe operated together. The company prioritised integrating the two businesses over accelerating growth, with annual revenue remaining stable at ₹745 crore.

The integration improved project economics, reducing direct project costs from 56.6% of revenue in FY25 to 52% in FY26. The 460-basis-point improvement came from consolidating sourcing, manufacturing partners and installation operations across both brands.

HomeLane has also completed the amalgamation of G S E-Commerce Private Limited, which operates DesignCafe, into Homevista Decor and Furnishings Private Limited, the group’s parent company. The business now operates as a single legal entity, while HomeLane and DesignCafe retain separate consumer brands. Both are supported by a shared technology platform, supply chain and operating infrastructure.

HomeLane Reports Lower Like-for-Like Loss

HomeLane reported a loss before tax of ₹137 crore in FY26, compared with ₹111 crore in FY25. However, FY26 included ₹19 crore in integration-related and one-time costs. Excluding these and other exceptional items, the loss before tax stood at ₹118 crore, broadly in line with the previous year.

Co-founder and CEO Srikanth Iyer said the integration strengthened project economics and enabled quarterly operating EBITDA profitability. With growth returning in FY27, HomeLane is now focused on crossing ₹1,000 crore in revenue and achieving full-year EBITDA profitability.
