Hyeglo Beauty Raises Rs 7 Crore in Funding Round Led by Sauce to Scale Skincare-Led Makeup

The Delhi-based D2C beauty brand will deploy the fresh capital towards R&D, product launches, brand building and hiring as it looks to strengthen its position in India’s beauty and personal care market.

Hyeglo Beauty, a direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty and personal care brand, has raised Rs 7 crore in a funding round led by Sauce. The round also saw participation from Giga Capital, Consumer Collective, Reckitt’s Arjun Purkayastha and The Patient Capital.

The company plans to utilise the fresh capital to strengthen its research and development (R&D) capabilities, introduce new products, invest in brand building and expand its team. These investments are expected to support the brand’s product development and growth plans as it builds its presence in India’s competitive beauty and personal care segment.

Founded in 2026 by Kanupriya Ahluwalia, Hyeglo is building a beauty proposition around the integration of skincare and makeup. The Delhi-based brand focuses on products that combine skincare ingredients, active formulations and pigments, bringing skincare-led functionality into makeup.

Unlike conventional makeup positioning that primarily centres on colour and finish, Hyeglo’s approach places emphasis on the ingredients and formulation behind its products. The brand says its offerings incorporate clinically tested ingredients and skincare actives, aiming to combine makeup application with skincare-focused formulations.

Product development at Hyeglo is guided by a skin science-led approach, with dermatological expertise and professional consultations informing its formulations. The company also works with specialists, including Dr Sonal Tibrewal Garg, an MD in Dermatology, as part of its focus on skin-informed product development.

The funding comes as Hyeglo looks to build its brand through a combination of product innovation, scientific expertise and consumer-focused beauty solutions. Its emphasis on integrating skincare ingredients into makeup reflects its differentiated positioning within the broader beauty and personal care category.

With the Rs 7 crore investment, Hyeglo aims to strengthen its research capabilities, broaden its product portfolio and invest in the team and brand-building efforts needed to support its next phase of growth.
