iD Fresh Food Nears Rs 900 Crore Revenue in FY26; Profit Before Exceptional Items Jumps Over 3X

The Bengaluru-based ready-to-cook food company recorded 27.7% revenue growth, reaching Rs 870 crore, while stronger operating performance lifted its profit before tax and exceptional items to Rs 79 crore.

iD Fresh Food reported revenue from operations of Rs 870 crore in FY26, up 27.7% from Rs 681 crore in FY25, strengthening its position in India’s growing ready-to-cook food market. The company remained profitable, with profit before tax and exceptional items increasing more than threefold to Rs 79 crore from Rs 24 crore.

Headquartered in Bengaluru, iD Fresh manufactures ready-to-cook products such as idli and dosa batter and parathas. Its portfolio also includes traded products such as curd, paneer, coffee, specialty batter and other food items.

The company’s manufacturing facilities span Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Haryana and Ajman in the UAE. Manufactured products, including batters and parathas, contributed Rs 671 crore, accounting for approximately 75% of operating revenue. The remaining income came from traded products, including dairy items, chapatis, beverages and frozen fruits.

iD Fresh also recorded Rs 8 crore in other income, taking its total income to Rs 879 crore during FY26.

On the cost front, raw material procurement remained the largest expense, rising 18.3% to Rs 394 crore and accounting for 49% of total expenditure. Employee benefit expenses increased 16% to Rs 168 crore. Total expenditure grew 20.5% to Rs 801 crore from Rs 665 crore in FY25.

Despite higher operating costs, revenue growth supported improved profitability. The company reported EBITDA of Rs 111 crore, an EBITDA margin of 13% and a return on capital employed (ROCE) of 17.4%. Its current assets stood at Rs 250 crore.

Importantly, the profit figures exclude exceptional items worth Rs 713 crore, primarily linked to preference share fair-value changes and gains from the deconsolidation of a subsidiary. These accounting adjustments are separate from its underlying operating performance.

As competition intensifies in India’s ready-to-cook category, iD Fresh’s next growth phase will depend on expanding distribution, improving operational efficiency and building consumer loyalty. With convenience increasingly shaping food consumption, the company must retain its differentiation in a market attracting more alternatives.
