Palmonas Opens First International Store in UAE, Marks Middle East Expansion

Indian demi-fine jewellery brand Palmonas has entered the international retail market with the launch of its first exclusive store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a significant milestone in the brand’s global expansion journey. The move represents Palmonas’ first overseas retail presence and signals its ambition to build an international footprint beyond India.

The company has opened its first international store at Reem Mall and is set to launch a second company-operated outlet at Mall of the Emirates later this month. Both stores will be directly operated by Palmonas, allowing the brand to deliver a consistent retail experience while strengthening its presence across the Middle East.

The new stores will showcase Palmonas’ complete portfolio across the demi-fine jewellery category, alongside collections in 9kt gold, 925 sterling silver, and other jewellery segments. By combining premium product offerings with an immersive in-store experience, the company aims to deepen customer engagement in one of the world’s leading luxury retail destinations.

Founder and CEO Pallavi Mohadikar described the launch as a major milestone in Palmonas’ growth journey, highlighting the company’s vision of taking an Indian-born jewellery brand to the global stage. She added that the strong organic support received from customers in the UAE made the expansion a natural next step and expressed excitement about bringing the complete Palmonas experience closer to its growing community in the region.

According to the company, the UAE was selected for its international debut because of its position as a global luxury retail hub and its diverse consumer base with a strong appreciation for premium design and craftsmanship. The market also offers an opportunity to introduce Indian-born jewellery brands to an international audience seeking contemporary yet premium products.

Beyond its physical retail presence, Palmonas is also strengthening its omnichannel strategy. Customers across the UAE will be able to purchase products through the brand’s official ecommerce platform, extending access to its jewellery collections throughout the region.

The international expansion reflects a growing trend among Indian D2C and premium consumer brands, which are increasingly combining company-owned stores with digital commerce to build global businesses.
