Wah! Foods Targets ₹250 Crore Revenue by FY30, Bets Big on India’s Organised Street Food Market

Backed by Sagar Daryani, the QSR brand is expanding its regional street-food footprint while preparing to enter the packaged foods category.

Indian street-food quick service restaurant (QSR) brand Wah! Foods is targeting ₹250 crore in annual revenue by FY30 as it accelerates its expansion strategy and strengthens its position in India’s organised street-food market.

Founded by Deepak and Ankita, the company operates through its flagship brands Wah! Puchka and Wah! Litti, bringing authentic regional street-food experiences to consumers with a strong focus on hygiene, consistency, convenience, and standardisation.

Currently operating across Kolkata and Pune, Wah! Foods plans to deepen its presence in these existing markets before entering new cities through a cluster-led expansion strategy. The company aims to build a scalable business by establishing strong city-level operations before expanding geographically.

To support its next phase of growth, Wah! Foods has built the operational foundation required for scale. The company said it has already achieved outlet-level profitability, while developing standardized operating procedures, centralized supply chains, and technology-enabled systems designed to improve operational efficiency and deliver a consistent customer experience.

Its expansion strategy will focus on compact high-street outlets, supported by dedicated city-level teams that can efficiently manage operations while maintaining quality across locations.

Commenting on the opportunity, Sagar Daryani, Founder of Wow! Momo and an investor in Wah! Foods in his personal capacity, highlighted the long-term potential of India’s organised street-food segment.

He noted that street food represents one of India’s largest untapped consumer opportunities, adding that brands capable of combining authenticity, hygiene, consistency, and scalability have the potential to build iconic consumer businesses.

According to Ankita, Co-founder of Wah! Foods, the company’s growth has been driven by strong customer loyalty and repeat purchases rather than discount-led acquisition strategies. She said improving repeat customer behaviour and stronger marketing efficiency have enabled the business to grow nearly threefold over the past 12 months, while investments in people, systems, and operations are preparing the company for its next stage of expansion.

Beyond its restaurant business, Wah! Foods is also preparing to diversify into the packaged foods segment, introducing products inspired by popular Indian street-food offerings. The move is expected to extend the brand beyond physical outlets while creating new consumer touchpoints across retail channels.

With profitable outlets, scalable operations, a disciplined expansion strategy, and a growing portfolio, Wah! Foods is positioning itself to capitalize on rising demand for organised, hygienic Indian street food while building a stronger omnichannel food brand for the future.
