Bucketlistt Raises Pre-Seed Funding to Build India’s Next Experience Tourism and Travel-Tech Platform

India’s experience economy is witnessing rapid growth, and emerging travel-tech startup Bucketlistt is looking to capitalize on this opportunity with fresh funding and ambitious expansion plans. In one of the latest D2C startup news developments, Bucketlistt has raised ₹1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel funding round at a post-money valuation of ₹10.07 crore. The round attracted participation from angel investors including Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri, and Yash Mehta, highlighting growing investor confidence in India’s evolving travel and experience ecosystem.

Founded in 2025 by chartered accountants Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai, and Divyam Shah, Bucketlistt operates a curated marketplace that connects consumers with verified adventure, cultural, and spiritual experiences across India. The platform is emerging as one of the latest D2C startups leveraging technology to organize a highly fragmented sector while delivering memorable experiences to modern consumers.

The fresh capital will be utilized to strengthen technology infrastructure, expand the operator network, accelerate customer acquisition, and build a stronger team. These investments are expected to support the company’s broader D2C expansion plans as it scales across multiple travel and tourism destinations.

Since launching in December 2025, Bucketlistt has facilitated bookings worth more than ₹10 crore and served over 31,000 customers. The startup currently operates in Rishikesh, one of India’s most popular adventure tourism destinations, offering experiences such as rafting, skydiving, camping, hot-air balloon rides, and curated local activities.

As part of its next phase of growth, the company plans to expand into high-demand tourism destinations including Manali, Bir, Jaipur, Goa, and Ujjain. Beyond adventure travel, Bucketlistt is also focusing on cultural and spiritual tourism, reflecting changing D2C consumer behavior India where travelers increasingly seek immersive and authentic experiences.

A key differentiator for the company is its parallel SaaS business, OkGhumo, an ERP and CRM platform built specifically for experience operators. The platform helps operators manage bookings, finances, customer relationships, and day-to-day operations more efficiently. OkGhumo has already onboarded three vendors representing more than ₹40 crore in annual business volume, demonstrating strong early traction.

The combination of a consumer marketplace and a technology platform creates a scalable D2C business model India that supports both travelers and service providers. This integrated approach positions Bucketlistt uniquely within India’s growing travel-tech landscape while creating multiple growth opportunities.

Looking ahead, the startup plans to launch a dedicated consumer mobile application, introduce loyalty programs, implement dynamic pricing systems, and integrate AI-powered booking capabilities. These initiatives align with broader D2C market trends 2025, where technology, personalization, and seamless digital experiences are becoming increasingly important drivers of consumer engagement.

The funding round also reflects a wider trend within the Indian startup ecosystem, where investors are backing niche, category-focused platforms capable of creating strong network effects and long-term customer loyalty. While sectors such as D2C fashion and lifestyle, D2C food and beverage brands, and D2C wellness startups continue to attract capital, travel experiences are emerging as another high-potential category within India’s growing digital economy.

As Indian D2C updates continue to showcase innovative startups building technology-enabled consumer businesses, Bucketlistt stands out as a promising player bringing structure, trust, and convenience to India’s experience tourism sector. With fresh funding, strong early traction, expanding destination coverage, and a growing technology stack, the company is positioning itself to become a category-defining platform in India’s rapidly expanding travel and experience economy.

The latest milestone marks an important step in Bucketlistt’s journey as it works toward creating one of India’s most comprehensive marketplaces for adventure, cultural, and spiritual experiences while building sustainable growth through technology and innovation.
