iD Fresh Foods Accelerates Global Expansion with 10 Manufacturing Hubs Ahead of Planned IPO

D2C fresh food brand iD Fresh Foods is accelerating its global expansion strategy with plans to establish 10 manufacturing hubs across international markets over the next two years. The move comes as the Bengaluru-headquartered company prepares for a potential public listing around October FY27, while expanding its product portfolio beyond its core fresh foods business.

The company plans to set up manufacturing hubs across Singapore, Sri Lanka, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Canada, strengthening its presence in key global markets. According to Chairman and Global CEO PC Musthafa, the expansion will be supported by a centralised manufacturing model designed to simplify operations, improve cost efficiency, and maintain consistent product quality across regions.

Under this approach, nearly 95% of the manufacturing process will be completed at dedicated production facilities serving each market, while the final stage of production will take place locally before products are dispatched. The model is intended to streamline operations while ensuring uniform quality standards across international markets.

The expansion follows a strong financial year for iD Fresh Foods, with the company crossing the ₹600 crore revenue milestone in FY25. As it scales globally, the brand is also diversifying beyond its traditional fresh food offerings into new high-growth categories.

One of its strategic focus areas is protein-based products, while Musthafa highlighted gut health as one of the most promising opportunities in the evolving food and nutrition industry. The company sees increasing consumer interest in health-focused food products as a key long-term growth driver.

Alongside its international ambitions, iD Fresh Foods is also strengthening its presence in the packaged snacks category. The company recently introduced a portfolio of seven SKUs made using ragi and oats, including masala ragi chips, pudina ragi bhujia, masala oats chips, pudina oats bhujia, corn flakes mixture, all-in-one mixture, and butter murukku.

After initially launching the products through general trade, the snacks range is set to enter quick commerce before expanding across the nearly 100 cities where iD Fresh Foods already operates. The company plans to reinvest in the category while introducing additional products as the portfolio grows.

By combining international manufacturing expansion, product diversification, and deeper distribution through quick commerce, iD Fresh Foods is positioning itself for its next phase of growth. As it moves closer to a potential IPO, the company continues to strengthen its footprint in both domestic and global markets while capitalising on rising demand for fresh, convenient, and health-focused food products.
