Digital-first skincare brand Aqualogica is emerging as one of the most important growth drivers within Honasa Consumer’s expanding beauty and personal care portfolio. Built around hydration-focused, ingredient-led formulations designed for Indian skin and tropical weather conditions, the brand is steadily broadening its presence across multiple skincare categories while supporting Honasa’s long-term premium skincare ambitions.
Originally recognised for its hydration-based products, Aqualogica has evolved into a broader skincare platform with category-specific product ranges including Radiance+, Detan+, Illuminate+, Barrier+, and Bright+. Each range targets specific skin concerns using active ingredients such as Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin, Ceramides, Kojic Acid complexes, Avocado Oil, and botanical extracts. The introduction of products such as Acne Patches further reflects the brand’s expansion into targeted skincare solutions beyond its hydration-focused origins.

The brand’s growth aligns closely with Honasa Consumer’s broader business strategy. Over the past year, the company has increasingly focused on high-growth beauty categories, with its “focus categories” contributing more than 75% of overall revenue. Alongside established brands such as Mamaearth and The Derma Co., Aqualogica is becoming an increasingly significant contributor to this category-first growth strategy.
Honasa’s improving financial performance provides additional context for Aqualogica’s expansion. The company has reported stronger profitability, positive EBITDA, and sustained revenue growth while continuing to invest in innovation, distribution, and premium beauty categories. In FY26, Honasa also announced its maiden dividend, reflecting increasing financial maturity alongside operational growth.
At the portfolio level, Honasa is positioning itself as India’s leading digital-first beauty and personal care house of brands. While Mamaearth remains its flagship brand, newer growth engines—including The Derma Co. and Aqualogica—are playing a larger role in driving premiumisation and category expansion. The Derma Co. has already crossed a ₹750 crore annual revenue run rate and was recognised by Euromonitor as India’s No. 1 sunscreen brand for CY2024, highlighting the company’s growing strength in science-backed skincare.
As India’s beauty and personal care market continues shifting towards ingredient-led, problem-solving skincare, Aqualogica appears well positioned to benefit from rising consumer demand for specialised formulations, omnichannel accessibility, and premium skincare experiences. Within Honasa’s evolving brand architecture, Aqualogica is no longer just a hydration brand—it is becoming a key pillar in the company’s next phase of sustainable, innovation-led growth.
