The Bengaluru-based furniture startup has raised fresh capital to strengthen its online-offline retail model and build on cumulative funding of around ₹70 crore.
Bengaluru-based furniture startup Furnishka has raised ₹26.8 crore through an extended pre-Series A funding round, bringing its total capital raised to approximately ₹70 crore. The round includes participation from venture investors, angel backers, startup founders and existing supporters.

The latest fundraise saw investments from PhysicsWallah founders Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari, along with Udaan co-founder Sujeet Kumar. Other participating investors include Beenext Asia, Bhaarath Sang, Onyx InVen, Amit Jain, Shantanu Jain, Manish Dugar, Mohit Gupta and Jnabiz Consulting.
To facilitate the transaction, Furnishka allotted 3,183 preference shares at an issue price of ₹84,157 per share. A substantial portion of the committed capital has already been credited to the company’s accounts, while the remaining funds are expected to be received shortly.
Bhaarath Sang emerged as the largest contributor, investing ₹10.3 crore. Beenext Asia committed ₹3.35 crore, while Onyx InVen and Amit Jain invested ₹2.37 crore each. Mohit Gupta and Jnabiz Consulting contributed close to ₹2 crore each.
Sujeet Kumar invested around ₹1 crore, while Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari each committed ₹1.14 crore. Shantanu Jain and Manish Dugar invested approximately ₹94.3 lakh and ₹15.1 lakh, respectively.
Founded in 2023 by Ganesh Pawar, Furnishka operates in the omnichannel furniture retail segment. The company combines online commerce with large-format physical stores, allowing customers to discover products digitally while also experiencing furniture in physical retail environments.
Its product portfolio covers key home categories, including living room, dining room and bedroom furniture. Furnishka’s business model focuses on customization, operational efficiency and streamlined supply chain management, areas that are increasingly important in the furniture industry.
The latest round follows Furnishka’s ₹27 crore pre-Series A funding raised in October 2024. That round was led by IndiaQuotient, with participation from Sparrow Capital and angel investors including Sujeet Kumar and Ramakant Sharma.
With cumulative funding now reaching around ₹70 crore, Furnishka is strengthening its position in India’s evolving furniture retail market. Its omnichannel approach gives the company an opportunity to combine the convenience of online shopping with the trust, product experience and customization support offered through physical stores.
The fresh capital is expected to support the company’s continued expansion and operational development as it builds a more integrated furniture-buying experience for consumers.
