Fragrance solutions company Aerome is expanding its portfolio beyond scent marketing with the launch of a wellness-focused fragrance range, as it strengthens its omnichannel presence and targets ₹100 crore in annual revenue by 2027.
Founded in 2016 by Rishi Chhabria, Aerome entered the Indian market when scent marketing was still an emerging concept. The company initially focused on educating hotels, malls, and commercial spaces about the role of signature fragrances in enhancing customer experiences and building brand identity. Starting with just two clients in its first year, Aerome has since established itself as one of India’s leading scent marketing brands.

While around 80% of Aerome’s revenue currently comes from its B2B business, the remaining 20% is generated through its direct-to-consumer (D2C) segment. Over the past few years, the company has expanded its consumer portfolio with home diffusers, car diffusers, and the Aerome Scentitude perfume collection, and is now preparing to enter the wellness fragrance category.
Developed in collaboration with neuroscientists from the University of Geneva, the upcoming Aerome Wellness range is based on nearly 18 months of research into how fragrances influence the human brain. According to the company, the collection includes fragrances designed to promote calmness, happiness, focus, self-confidence, and social connection, supported by MRI-based neurological studies.
Aerome also plans to broaden its product portfolio with candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, fabric refreshers, hospitality wellness collections, and advanced hotel fragrance solutions featuring encapsulation technology that gradually releases fragrance from fabrics.
To strengthen its omnichannel strategy, the company is preparing to launch Atmosphere Chambers—immersive fragrance destinations where consumers can explore scent creation through interactive, multisensory experiences. Before launching its own experience centres in cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, Aerome plans to expand through offline retail partnerships.
The company is also scaling its digital presence. Alongside its own website and Amazon, Aerome plans to launch on Myntra while evaluating opportunities in quick commerce.
Looking ahead, Aerome expects its B2B business to generate around ₹70 crore in FY27, with its D2C segment contributing ₹10–15 crore. Supported by its expanding wellness portfolio and omnichannel strategy, the company aims to achieve ₹100 crore in annual revenue by the third or fourth quarter of 2027 while positioning itself as one of India’s most recognized fragrance brands.
