Purple Style Labs, the parent company of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, reported improved quarterly profitability alongside strong revenue growth, with EBITDA turning positive at Rs 4 crore in Q2 FY27.

Purple Style Labs (PSL), which operates luxury fashion platform Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop, narrowed its consolidated net loss by 12.9% year-on-year to Rs 68.3 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with Rs 78.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Sequentially, its net loss declined 22.5% from Rs 88.1 crore in Q1 FY27.

Operating revenue increased 30.7% year-on-year to Rs 142.1 crore from Rs 108.7 crore. It also grew 19% quarter-on-quarter from Rs 119.4 crore. Including other income of Rs 3.9 crore, total income stood at Rs 146 crore.

However, the company’s total expenses rose 36.9% to Rs 211.2 crore from Rs 154.3 crore a year earlier. Purchases of stock-in-trade accounted for the largest share of expenditure at Rs 118.4 crore. PSL also reported an exceptional expense of Rs 3.1 crore, relating to employee stock option compensation and fees associated with an increase in a subsidiary’s authorised capital. Its loss before tax stood at Rs 69.3 crore.

On the operating front, EBITDA turned positive at Rs 4 crore, compared with break-even performance in Q2 FY26 and an EBITDA loss of Rs 11 crore in the preceding quarter. The company reported a gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 204 crore during the quarter, with an average order value of Rs 82,000.

Founded in 2015 by Abhishek Agarwal, PSL sources luxury fashion products from over 1,100 active designer brands. Its portfolio spans womenswear, menswear, jewellery, accessories and kidswear. The company follows an omnichannel model, combining e-commerce with 14 multi-designer retail stores across India.

PSL listed on the stock exchanges in September following its Rs 680 crore IPO, which was oversubscribed 1.29 times. Its shares closed 1.46% lower at Rs 493.70 on the BSE in the latest trading session.

The latest results reflect improving revenue and EBITDA performance, although rising expenses and continued net losses remain key financial metrics to watch.
