Bengaluru-based dog care platform Scooby’s Club has raised $250,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by TDV Partners. The startup operates premium dog care hubs in residential neighbourhoods, offering professionally managed daycare and overnight boarding services for working professionals and modern pet parents.
Co-founded in 2025 by Animeha Singh and Ankit Gupta, Scooby’s Club aims to provide high-standard, short-term and overnight care for dogs through a neighbourhood-led model. The company combines canine behavioural principles with purpose-built indoor spaces designed to make professional pet care more accessible to pet parents.

The fresh funding will be used to expand to two new properties across Bengaluru over the next 6–12 months. Scooby’s Club also plans to hire and train canine coaches to strengthen its expert-led approach and deliver a consistent experience across its growing network.
Safety and behavioural care are central to the startup’s operating model. Every dog undergoes temperament testing and is grouped by size, helping enable safer and lower-stress socialisation. Its facilities are fully indoor and climate-controlled, with sound, scent, and colour elements incorporated to provide mental enrichment.
Scooby’s Club also offers allergen-sensitive care, personalised attention, and 24×7 CCTV access, allowing pet parents to stay connected and gain visibility into their dogs’ experience while they are away.
The startup has set an ambitious long-term target of building a network of 100 properties across major Indian cities. Its neighbourhood-focused strategy is designed to bring professional dog care closer to where pet parents live, potentially reducing the inconvenience associated with traditional pet boarding and daycare options.
The broader Indian pet care market is also expanding. According to market research cited by the company, India’s pet care market is estimated at Rs 6,000 crore and growing at around 20% CAGR, while pet ownership is increasing at approximately 5% year-on-year.
Investor interest in organised pet care has grown alongside this market. Vetic raised $40 million in June to expand its clinic network, while Supertails secured $30 million in February 2026 to scale veterinary clinics, at-home care, and rapid delivery services. Premium D2C pet care brand Moe Puppy raised Rs 2 crore in pre-seed funding in March.
With its residential neighbourhood model, specialised canine coaches, controlled environments, and plans for 100 properties, Scooby’s Club is building a differentiated approach to organised dog daycare and boarding in India.
